THE FIGHT

In his first public appearance, Static must stop an out-of-control S.T.A.R. Labs employee named Sunspot.

The battle to decide who is the true genius! Toggle Sunspot’s Negative Damage under Damage Points, to find out the power of his short-circuit.

MOVES:

Static:

  • Static created his own plasma cable by ionizing the gases in the air. How cool is that? Deftly, he wrapped it around Sunspot.
  • Static’s slingshot dragged Sunspot around town like a saucy, sooped-up fireball! It’s really great how he was surfing the airwaves on his Static Saucer.

Sunspot:

  • Sunspot actually fried Static with a short-circuit sending him from airborne onto a rooftop. Then, Static turned up the dials!

STYLE:

Static:

  • Static’s Uniform is a smart clothing used with miniaturized computer systems. It is used for crime-fighting and as a disguise. Like a sly cat, he can slip into his costume from a 5-inch canister which expands his costume in size.

DAMAGE SCALE

DAMAGE POINTS
In 'Static Shock' (2011) #1, Static Shock contains Sunspot in an E.M. field to ionize the plasma suit in air.

A brawl between Static, the black superhero and Sunspot.

TOTAL

STATIC’S NEGATIVE DAMAGE:

Toggle the Toggle Arrow below to view the calculations.

-18 DAMAGE PTS.

Power of an Electrocution = 13200 V * 0.01 A = 132 W * 4 s = 1.25714286e-7 Ton of TNT.
-(18 DAMAGE PTS * 132 J * 1 Ton of TNT)/(4.2*10^9 J) = -5.65714286e-7 PTS * Ton of TNT.
Static’s Durability = (-5.65714286e-7 PTS * Ton of TNT)/(1.25714286e-7 Ton of TNT) = -4.49999999205 PTS.
Durability = 2 – 4.49999999205 = -2.50 PTS = ATHLETE.

-(24 DAMAGE PTS * 1181.484 W * 1 s * 1 Ton of TNT)/(4.2*10^9 J) = -0.00000675133 PTS * Ton of TNT.
Sunspot’s Durability = (-0.00000675133 PTS * Ton of TNT)/(0.00642388928 Ton of TNT) = -0.00105097234 PTS.
