MARVEL DAY
IN CRISES
In X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), the X-Men face their deadliest foe. The events of the movie set up the next called X-Men: Dark Phoenix with Jean Grey awakening to her power. Now that the X-Men are set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we celebrate this day one of the most infamous X-Men story. With X-Men: Alpha (1994) #1, the Age of Apocalypse begins.
This December 27th, in Marvel history, we list important comic events.
THE AGE OF APOCALYPSE BEGINS
In X-Men: Alpha (1994) #1, the X-Men series took to a new level. In a story by Scott Lobdell and Mark Waid, Apocalypse imposes a dystopian regime on the United States after Legion goes back in time in an attempt to erase Magneto and change history. Really, the story shook the Marvel status quo and showed what an Apocalypse-led America would look like.
