'Fantastic Four' (1962) #5. Marvel Comics.
Fantastic Four (1962) #5. Marvel Comics.

THE CREATIVE TEAM

Namely, the creative team on the story arc is legendary talent. In a few words, late legendary writer, editor Stan Lee and the incredible artist Jack Kirby collaborate on the story arc. For his part, the legendary writer has created popular Marvel characters and teams such as Spider-Man, X-Men, Daredevil and yes, the Fantastic Four!

When both superstars collaborate on this work, you expect a classic. In fact, the creative team took the world by surprise!

“THE WORLD’S GREATEST COMIC MAGAZINE”

When Stan Lee created the Fantastic Four, it was promoted as “The World’s Greatest Comic Magazine!” Though DC Comics was ruling comicdom during the Silver Age, the Fantastic Four sought to change societal attitudes with regards to race, and even, gender roles.

With a team of four super-powered heroes, the FF sported a female figure that over time played a prominent role in many of their adventures. And when Doctor Doom makes his terrifying first appearance for the first time, the female is initially singled out!

Now, the heroes must stop the villain’s raving plans before it is too late. Witness why Invisible Woman may have been the Most Important Hero in the battle.

THE BATTLE THAT SOLD THE STORY ARC

Importantly, the battle in Part #5 sold the story arc. When the Fantastic Four (minus Invisible Girl) return from their mission, they must rescue Sue. Comically, Mister Fantastic actually tricks Doctor Doom with a treasure chest containing a chain, and not treasure.

With the trickery, the hostilities are engaged. After a brief scuffle, they discover the villain was a Doombot and that the mastermind and Invisible Girl are in another room. However, it is too late. Wickedly, Doctor Doom activates the switch that empties the room of oxygen.

In Fantastic Four (1962) #5, Mister Fantastic tricks Doctor Doom with a treasure chest containing a chain. Marvel Comics.

Heroically, a captive Invisible Girl springs into action. Quickly, she turns invisible and short-circuits Doom’s machine causing it to explode. Even more, she heads to the room where the heroes are about to breathe their last, and unlocks the door. Soon, air returns and the heroes are saved.

Definitely, this comic changed the damsel-in-distress trope on its head by showing that women could be heroines. And we recommend this comic for its humor, classic feel and intrigue.

Indeed, buy this comic to witness Mister Fantastic stretch over a mile at sea to offer passage between two boats for pirates. In the end, the comic answered why it was touted as “The World’s Greatest Comic Magazine” and entertained fans for generations.

SALES, SALES, SALES

Really, Fantastic Four #5 significantly boosted sales for the story arc. In fact, according to Rare Comics, at Number 4, it was the top Fantastic Four comic that year. Let’s compare to the other Top 10 Fantastic Four comics that year.

Number 5. Fantastic Four #4: Features the first appearance of Namor the Sub-Mariner in the Silver Age.

Number 6. Fantastic Four #2: Features the first appearance of the Skrulls in Marvel continuity.

Number 9. Fantastic Four #6: Doctor Doom and Namor team-up against the Fantastic Four.

Number 10. Fantastic Four #3: Features the first appearance of Miracle Man.

RECOMMENDATION:

Definitely, collect Doctor Doom’s first appearance in digital format on Kindle & Comixology.

Injustice 2: Who Has The Best Comic-Accurate Fighting Techniques?

INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US

THUNDERONE

IN Franchises, Comic Values And Collections

*In celebration of Independence Day, we go over the best fighting techniques in Injustice 2 for PS4 and Xbox One.

THE BEST FIGHTING VIDEO GAME

Injustice 2. WB Games.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us video game series has been both a financial and a critical success for WB Games.

Based on the popular comic franchise titled Injustice: Gods Among Us, the series centers on the events after Joker brutally kills Lois Lane, Superman becomes evil and sets up a tyrannical Regime on Earth. And Batman forms a coalition of heroes to oppose Superman’s Regime.

In the Injustice 2 sequel, the Insurgency has stopped Superman and his forces. However, they enlist the evil Superman‘s help when Brainiac attempts to collect the Earth.

According to reviews by MetaCritic, the sequel has improved gameplay and mechanics though other reviews criticize the plot. At MetaCritic, the PS4 and Xbox One versions have 87/100 and 89/100.

Since we are interested in the fighting game, let’s rate the main characters’ fighting techniques and how they compare to the comic. For the most part, we are interested in strength, speed, and damage.

So, from our video above, let’s find out which Injustice 2 character has the most comic-accurate fighting technique.

5. COMIC-ACCURATE: DARKSEID

Generally, Darkseid’s fighting moves are inspired from the classic Bronze Age version though his costume and powerset take some inspiration from the New 52.

Really, Darkseid is imposing and his fighting moves make for some economy of movements, with strength, power and size. With his imposing physique, Darkseid can deal up to 40 hits of combos with at more than two-thirds of your life bar.

Certainly, his Omega Beams are his finishing moves showing that he may be the best for defensive-minded players who like to deal maximum damage in a few moves.

VERDICT: COMIC-ACCURATE

Mr. Alucard

4. COMIC-ACCURATE: BATMAN

Usually, Batman uses shadows, deception and technology to defeat his opponents. In fact, his fighting stance is usually a crouching, mysterious and exploiting technique.

Since Injustice is influenced by the Elseworld and its armored characters, Batman’s fighting techniques show a more offensive-minded and open-combat Batman. In fact, his techniques reflects the comic more accurately.

And Batman’s grappling hook is the difference-maker. Effectively, he uses it offensively to trap his opponent and throw him/her across distances. Certainly, moves reminiscent of Batman v Superman. With 40 hits, Batman can cost more than two-thirds of your life.

VERDICT: COMIC-ACCURATE

ADVERTISE WITH US

3. COMIC-ACCURATE: DOCTOR FATE’S SPELL OF JUDGMENT

With the Black Adam movie, Doctor Fate and the JSA are getting some interest. Though the powerhouse is not well-known, his appearance in the game is very comic-accurate. In fact, Doctor Fate is a playable anti-hero in the game.

And this video game separates itself with the improved gameplay and design. Though Doctor Fate’s Spell of Judgment combos only deal 14 Hits, they damage about two-thirds of a life bar. What is special about his fighting techniques is that they accurately reflect the comics.

VERDICT: MORE COMIC-ACCURATE

2. COMIC-ACCURATE: SUPERMAN’S SPEEDING BULLET

Perhaps, one disappointment from Injustice 2 is the downplay in Superman’s combos in terms of hits, strength and damage. The first game featured Superman‘s Flying Ground Smash and other special moves.

However, our game shows moves more consistent with Superman’s fighting techniques Post-Crisis. Usually, Superman uses a lot of haymakers, crosses and bullrushes at super speed. At the same time, this reflects an aged and powered-down Superman.

Neverthless, the fallen hero still deals about half the damage in 14 hits.

VERDICT: MORE COMIC-ACCURATE

1. COMIC-ACCURATE: FLASH’S LIGHTNING PUNCHES

Before, we published an article about Flash’s lightning punches. In fact, the article asked how Flash’s punches can hurt Superman. In Injustice 2, the gameplay answers the question.

Without a doubt, Flash sports the best fighting techniques of any character in the game. Certainly, the improved mechanics make Flash’s lightning punches flow better. And really, Injustice 2 may be the most-accurate portrayal of Flash’s super speed.

From the gameplay, to the fighting techniques to the super speed, Flash simply appears and disappears like a bolt of lightning. In 20 Hits, the hero is able to beat a third of your life in damage. Really, Flash sits at the top and faithfully his special moves display the comics.

Marvel vs Capcom: Who Has The Best Comic And Arcade-Accurate Fighting Techniques?

MARVEL VS CAPCOM

NafrielX

IN Franchises, Comic Values And Collections

*In celebration of Father’s Day, we go over the best fighting techniques in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite for PS4.

THE TEENAGE-FRIENDLY ARCADE CROSSOVER

Marvel vs Capcom.

In the popular Marvel vs Capcom series, players compete against opponents in teams of two or three. Originally, the inspiration for the series was X-Men: Children of The Atom and Marvel Super-Heroes. In the game, players use characters from Marvel and Capcom

For parents wondering what games to buy for their teenagers or for spouses looking for gifts for their husbands or children, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 for example, has been rated PG-13 and up. Though there is intense violence, suggestive language and revealing attire.

In the recent Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Marvel and Capcom baddies Ultron and Sigma attempt to use the Infinity Stones in order to merge both universes and rid their new world of organic life.

Though the game has upped the series, an IGN review criticized the character’s unimaginative design, the slow gameplay and the lack of creative storyline. Nevertheless, the visuals, scenery and the fighting styles are sufficient entertainment.

Since we are interested in the fighting game, let’s rate the main characters’ fighting techniques and how they compare to the arcade or comic. For the most part, we are interested in strength, speed, and damage.

So, from our video above, let’s find out which Marvel or Capcom character has the most arcade- or comic-accurate fighting technique.

3. COMIC-ACCURATE: DOCTOR STRANGE: EYE OF AGAMOTTO

Generally, Doctor Strange’s Eye of Agamotto is his final attack against cosmic beings and Skyfathers. For instance, the comics showed Doctor Strange use the Eye of Agamotto to decisively end Wanda Maximoff’s attacks on the Avengers in Disassembled.

As matter of fact, this is very impressive since Scarlet Witch has great reality-warping power on a planetary scale due to her Chaos Magic. In the game, Doctor Strange’s attack is his signature technique.

Though it generates only 17 hits, it consumes about half of his life bar, which shows a great amount of damage. Given that it is a video game, comic characters are often nerfed in order by reducing the damage of their signature techniques.

Nevertheless, the final attack is more or less accurate as a finishing move.

VERDICT: MORE COMIC-ACCURATE

3. ARCADE-ACCURATE: RYU: SHO-RYU-KEN

Generally, Ryu’s hado is portrayed has one of the most powerful attacks. Really, it qualifies as a hyper-move. At the same time, for the most part the attack looks more like a kamehameha wave. In fact, the hado-ken signature technique is actually a really flying fireball.

In the gameplay, the sho-ryu-ken, is more accurate in terms of fighting and even allows for multiple punches with both hands. Though the execution and fighting is impressive, the damage of the technique is disappointing.

In fact, it only deals 3 hits though with a fourth of the life bar in damage.

So, in terms of power and execution, the signature technique is impressive though the damage is disappointing.

VERDICT: LEAST ARCADE-ACCURATE

ADVERTISE WITH US

2. COMIC-ACCURATE: THOR: LIGHTNING BLASTS

Perhaps, the most impressive fighting technique in terms of damage, is Thor’s lightning blast. In Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Thor does not need to charge up his lightning strikes. Instead, he either raises his hammer high, or strikes his opponent into the air with Mjolnir.

In Infinity, Thor strikes Thanos at the head with a full lightning blast, resulting only in damaging the Titan’s armor. However, in the gameplay, Thor is able to damage more than half the life bar in just 3 hits. Impressive!

VERDICT: MOST COMIC-ACCURATE

2. ARCADE-ACCURATE: CHUN-LI’S LIGHTNING-KICK

In the gameplay, the adaptations to Chun-Li’s moves are the most impressive. Though her Spinning-Bird Kick is very different from the original arcade and really not impressive. However, with the Lightning Kick, a player can deal up to 15 hits.

What separates this attack from the rest is that the signature technique is both ground- and air-based which can quickly turn the tide in a stalemate. However, the drawback is that the attack deals only a sixth of a character’s life bar.

rooflemonger

VERDICT: MORE ARCADE-ACCURATE

1. COMIC-ACCURATE: VENOM’S WEBBING

At the top, is one of Venom’s lesser known signature moves. For the source comics, Venom often entombs his enemies in webbing for various uses. In addition, the symbiote allows him to shape-shift and attack his opponents with tendrils.

In our game, Venom can damage more than half of an opponent’s life in just 8 hits with the attack. Generally, the attack displays strength, speed and damage. For this reason, it’s at the top of our list.

VERDICT: BEST COMIC-ACCURATE

'Infinite Crisis' (2006) #7.
Infinite Crisis (2006) #7. DC Comics

THE CREATIVE TEAM

Namely, the creative team on the story arc is legendary talent. In a few words, writer Geoff Johns and the late artist George Perez collaborate on the story arc. For his part, the legendary artist has produced classic works such as Crisis On Infinite Earths, the Post-Crisis reboot of Wonder Woman and the New Teen Titans.

When both superstars collaborate on this work, you expect a classic. In fact, the creative team is not pulling any punches!

CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS SEQUEL

Really, Infinite Crisis is the sequel to Crisis on Infinite Earths. If COIE is about a mad god’s desire for multiversal annihilation, IC asks the question: Who is the true Superman to lead the heroes of New Earth?

With a tightly built plot, IC was THE DC crossover event of the 2000s! In the story, Alexander Luthor Jr. and Superboy-Prime are on a quest to find Earth-Prime, the perfect Earth. But this would mean the destruction of the 52 universes in the DC multiverse.

Now, the heroes must stop the villains’ raving plans before it is too late. Witness the fateful battle of the DC Universe against Superboy-Prime!

THE BATTLES THAT SOLD THE STORY ARC

Importantly, the battle of Superboy vs Superboy-Prime in Infinite Crisis (2006) #6, raised the stakes in a personal way. However, the finale in Infinite Crisis (2006) #7 was the event’s explosive finish. Let’s explain.

On New Earth, Superboy-Prime returns from the Speed Force with a solar-collecting armor to help Alexander Luthor Jr. Now, the battle is on to destroy Luthor’s tower: The JLA, the Titans, the JSA band together in the Arctic.

Originally, former DC co-publisher revealed his intention to kill Dick Grayson in IC. Eventually, Superboy ended up making the ultimate sacrifice to destroy Luthor’s tower.

In ‘Infinite Crisis’ (2006) #6, Superboy and Superboy-Prime fight a battle to the death.
In Infinite Crisis (2006) #6, Superboy and Superboy-Prime fight a battle to the death. DC Comics.

Nonetheless, the battle was only beginning. In Infinite Crisis (2006) #7, Superboy-Prime decides to fly into Oa, the center of the DC multiverse in order to create a Big Bang to recreate the DC universe with him as its only superhero.

And we recommend this comic for its non-stop action. Indeed, buy this comic to witness Superboy-Prime go through a 300-mile wall of pure willpower created by the Green Lantern Corps.

Certainly, there is the unforgettable battle of the Supermen: Superboy-Prime vs New Earth Superman and Earth-Two Superman. In the end, the comic answered the true meaning of Superman and why his ideal has inspired the DC Universe and fans for generations.

SALES, SALES, SALES

Really, Infinite Crisis #6-7 significantly boosted sales for the Hardcover. Though, it showed how a B-list character like Superboy-Prime can dangerously threaten the DC multiverse in a crisis.

In fact, Infinite Crisis #6 ranked 8th and Infinite Crisis #7 ranked 10th in 2006 Graphic Novels unit sales for single issues according to Comichron. Moreover, the Infinite Crisis HC was the number 21 best seller of 2006.

Let’s rank Superboy’s formidability with the solar-collecting armor.

FORMIDABILITY

Strength Class: Infinite 100%
Weaknesses: Space Objects 84%
Quality Opponents: Cosmic Being 84%
Limitations: Morals 50%

SCORE: 59

FORMIDABILITY:

BLOODLUSTED

Previously, Superboy-Prime struggled in a fight with the Flashes and was sent to the Speed Force. With the solar-collecting armor, Superboy-Prime managed to escape the Speed Force. Hence, his Strength Class is certainly Infinite Level.

And really, the two Supermen as his Quality Opponents are around Cosmic Being Level who can defeat cosmic beings and even skyfathers.

However, Superboy-Prime’s formidability is limited by his Morals. Though his solar-collecting armor does not protect him from Space Objects such as a red sun.

At the same time, he was eventually defeated not simply by red solar radiation since he managed to kill a depowered Earth-Two Superman but by his Superman complex and his inability to understand the evolution of New Earth.

QUALITY OPPONENTS

During the comic, Superboy-Prime faces the two Supermen, the JLA, JSA, the Titans and the Green Lantern Corps. Though SBP properly ranks as Skyfather.

FAN RECEPTION

Since its initial release, Infinite Crisis has remained very popular among fans. Recently, SBP resurfaced in Dark Nights: Death Metal as Wonder Woman prepared for battle against The Batman Who Laughs.

RECOMMENDATION:

Definitely, collect this dramatic crisis in single issues or paperback in comic format.

And that’s our best seller!

AT DC AND IMAGE, SUPERMAN ANALOGUES GUARD THE BLEED

In our previous article, we argued that Superman analogues at DC Comics and Image Comics guard the Bleed. When the Wildstorm Universe joined DC Comics in 1999, The Authority first appeared. This Anti-Justice League guarded the Bleed. Additionally, it housed Apollo, a Superman analogue. Another Superman analogue, Mister Majestic first appeared in Image Comics in 1994.

In Captain Atom: Armageddon, he worked to protect the Wildstorm Universe from destruction. At Image Comics, Supreme and his alternate versions protect the supremacy. Really, similarities between Supreme and Thought Robot suggest his story may have created the Image Universe. Let’s explain.

IN THE STORY OF THE YEAR ALAN MOORE CREATES TEAM SUPREME

Team Supreme. Image Comics.

LIKE THOUGHT ROBOT, SUPREME’S STORY IS CENTRAL TO IMAGE COMICS

THE SUPREMACY PROVES SUPREME IS A STORY

In Superman, The Greatest Story: How Art Deco Meets Plot Device, I argued Superman’s story popularized the superhero genre. Specifically, Grant Morrison suggests the Thought Robot created the DC Comics franchise. Similarly, Supreme may be the central story at Image Comics.

Like DC’s Limbo, the Supremacy is a form of Image Limbo. At DC’s Limbo dead or forgotten characters exist. At Image’s Limbo, Supreme’s amnesia as well as revisions in his continuity are associated with alternate versions. In addition, it is a form of Limbo for Supreme who was once forgotten on Earth. In many respects, Supreme is a story like Thought Robot.

A FAN OF IMAGE COMICS? CLICK ON ALAN MOORE’S: SUPREME: THE STORY OF THE YEAR BELOW TO BUY THE PAPERBACK COMIC ON AMAZON.

SUPREMIUM CAN WARP REALITY

In The Story Of The Year, Alan Moore gives a revamped origin of Supreme. Originally, Supreme gained super powers after exposure to Supremium while an infant. Incredibly, he developed the typical powers of a Superman analogue: super strength, super speed, super vision, senses, flight, intelligence.

Importantly, we learnt that Supremium can warp reality. In the case of his arch-enemy, Darius Dax, his experiments with Supremium created a temporal paradox causing him to time travel. In addition, it may have caused Dax’s dimensional transport to Daxia upon death. In fact, it is a form of Limbo containing the possible versions of Dax.

BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL, SUPREME MET JACK KIRBY

In Final Crisis: Superman Beyond #2, Thought Robot breaks the Fourth Wall. This is the literary process where a character is aware of being a creation in a work of literature. Here, Thought Robot is either aware of the Presence, the Writer or the reader.

Similarly, Supreme can break the Fourth Wall. In Supreme: The Return, Supreme meets with the Writer, Jack Kirby. While investigating ideas invading Earth, Supreme meets with the Monarch. And he finds out the Monarch is the Writer who tells him Supreme can achieve virtually anything. In essence, he has limitless power.

Importantly, the castling battle of Superman and Batman vs Hawkman and Captain Marvel sold the comic. Let’s explain. In the desert, Superman, Batman, Power Girl and Katana need to locate Hiro Okamura to help stop Asteroid X, a Kryptonite asteroid.

Suddenly, they are intercepted by Hawkman and Captain Marvel. However, Superman is at a disadvantage against Captain Marvel’s magic. And Batman is disadvantaged by Hawkman’s flight. Hence, Batman calls castling. Then, both superheroes exchange partners.

Really, the Superman vs Hawkman fight has been talked about online for quite some time.

In Superman/Batman (2004) #4, an amped Hawkman hits Superman with the magnetic field of the Earth. DC Comics.

Incredibly, Hawkman used the Claw of Horus to hit Superman with the magnetic field at the Earth’s core. Definitely, a Planetary-Level of Energy Projection. Moreover, a question that has been posed is whether Hawkman’s Claw of Horus is magical.

In fact, how it affects Superman’s invulnerability.

Though the artifact may be scientific, it is able to disrupt magical energies using Nth Metal. In addition, it amps its user’s powers and grants them magnetic abilities. For his part, Captain Marvel was able to defeat Batman by outsmarting him.

SALES, SALES, SALES

Really, though the comic did not significantly boost sales, it did result in boosting Hawkman’s reputation. Indeed, it showed how a JSA and C-list character like Hawkman can take down an A-list character like Superman.

In fact, Superman/Batman #4 ranked 172nd in January 2004 unit sales according to Comichron. Perhaps, the series contributed to the sales of the main Hawkman series. During that same month, Hawkman had the highest rank in unit sales within a three month span.

And really, Superman as his Quality Opponent is around Champion Level who can defeat a planet.

THE FORMIDABLE WARRIORS LIST

In our new hotness, we have The Formidable Warriors List. Here, we cover the greatest battles of a particular character in a comic or series, and how it made it a best-seller. In our new hotness for January, is Adam Warlock in Warlock and The Infinity Watch (1991) #1.

First, let’s reveal a poll on Twitter. Then, let’s show how it was a success.

WHY ADAM WARLOCK IS ON THE FORMIDABLE WARRIORS LIST

Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1991) #1. Marvel Comics.

INFINITY GAUNTLET SEQUEL

Namely, Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1991) #1 is the sequel to the classic Infinity Gauntlet story that skyrocketed Thanos into super-stardom in the Marvel Universe. In a few words, Adam Warlock has led the Marvel Universe against the threat of Thanos.

Now, having successfully defeated Thanos and ended the threat, he has claimed the mantle of the Supreme Being of the Marvel Universe with the Infinity Gauntlet. Really, it does not get better than this!

THE BATTLE THAT SOLD THE RUN

Importantly, the abstract stand-off between Adam Warlock and Living Tribunal sold the run from the beginning. Let’s explain. In the Star Chamber, it’s getting hotter.

There, an assemblage of cosmic entities and abstract level beings are hearing Eternity’s suit against Adam Warlock, the Supreme Being. When Eternity questions Warlock’s supemacy, Adam’s temper fires a powerful blast that fells everyone.

However, with a snap, Living Tribunal restores order.

In Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1991) #1, Living Tribunal restores order with a finger snap. Marvel Comics.

Then, Eternity presents his case detailing Warlock’s creation, character evolution, his sado-masochistic tendencies as well as his darkest secret. After he has finished his suit, the powerful stand-off of unimaginable might between two omnipotent beings follows!

In 'Warlock and The Infinity Watch (1992) #1, the confrontation between the Living Tribunal and Adam Warlock with the Infinity Gauntlet would lay waste to reality.
In Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1991) #1, Adam Warlock and Living Tribunal stand-off. Marvel Comics.

Certainly, you will have to read the issue to see how it ends. However, the first issue does set the tone for the run and does reveal the creative team’s ambitions. Definitely, the stand-off between Adam Warlock and the Living Tribunal sold fans on the series.

SALES, SALES, SALES

On the footsteps of Infinity Gauntlet, anticipation for the Jim Starlin and Angel Medina run was high. Particularly, the creative team released 42 issues for the series that ran from December 1991 to July 1995.

Though mostly with B-list and C-list characters, the series was among the best sellers in 1992. According to Comichron, Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1991) #1, ranked 41 in sales in December 1991.

Though not one of the most popular comics, it was nonetheless successful in 1992, holding spots in the Top 300 for the year.

Let’s rank Warlock’s formidability with the Infinity Gauntlet.

BECOME A MEMBER TO VOTE IN THE MIGHTIEST PUNCH!

FORMIDABILITY

Strength Class: Infinite 100%
Weaknesses: Artificial Being 50%
Quality Opponents: God or Abstract 100%
Limitations: Willpower 100%

SCORE: 75

FORMIDABILITY:

WARRIOR

For the most part, Adam Warlock shares the same physicals as Thanos with the IG. In fact, he possesses Infinite super-strength. At the same time, Eternity’s suit contends his weakness is his mental unstability.

In reality, Eternity is referring to Adam being an artificial being with no experience with human emotion. Despite his power, his emotions let him lose control in the Star Chamber.

However, Adam’s mysticism allows him to overcome Thanos’ power dependency. Thanks to his link to the Soul Gem, Warlock was able to take control of the IG at the end of Infinity Gauntlet.

For that reason, willpower or mind is properly his limitation. And in that sense, he is more formidable with the IG than Thanos. Certainly, his quality opponent in the first issue is Living Tribunal who is a God or Abstract.

QUALITY OPPONENTS

During the entire run, Adam Warlock and the Infinity Watch face a list of cosmic enemies such as the Omega, Man-Beast, Thanos and Magus. For the most part, the enemies are either Cosmic Beings or Skyfathers.

Also, the series centers on the protection of the six Infinity Gems which have been bestowed to different guardians in order to protect from their destructive use together.

In addition, there are questions related to the cosmic hierarchy and how Warlock and the Infinity Watch fit in with cosmic entities such as Galactus, Living Tribunal or Eternity.

FAN RECEPTION

Since its initial release, the comic has remained popular among fans. In fact, it has been collected in Infinity Watch Vol. 1 (Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1992-1995)) and Infinity Watch Vol. 2 (Warlock and the Infinity Watch (1992-1995)).

RECOMMENDATION:

Definitely, collect this cosmic doo-wop comic in single issues or paperback in comic format.
