Unbeknownst to him, his machinations lead eventually to The Death of The New Gods and Final Crisis.
Meanwhile, the Monitors unravel the causes that threaten the 52 universes of the multiverse lying in the multiversal anomalies. One of them, is Black Canary. Let’s reveal her origin story in the Post-Crisis continuity.
#collecdigitally #DCComics #ComicsAreForEverybody
PRE-CRISIS: DINAH DRAKE MIGRATED FROM EARTH-TWO
In Countdown (2007) #46, the Monitors reveal the origin story of the first Black Canary. Originally, she was from Earth-Two. After retiring from crime, Dinah Drake began her crime-fighting career. Soon, she joined the Justice Society of America. After the death of her husband, Larry Lance, she migrated to Earth-One.
PRE-CRISIS: DINAH DRAKE JOINED THE JLA
In Justice League of America (1963) #21, is the legendary first meeting between the JSA and the JLA. The two super-teams band together to defeat Fiddler, Icicle, Wizard and Chronos, Doctor Alchemy and Felix Faust that threaten the DC multiverse. During the Aquaris crisis, Dinah eventually remained on Earth-One.
On Earth-One, Dinah Laurel Lance was born of the first Black Canary, Dinah Drake and police officer Larry Lance. Precociously, Laurel started her crime-fighting career at the age of 19. Soon, she became the second Black Canary.
POST-CRISIS: DINAH LANCE IS A FOUNDING JLA MEMBER
In JLA: Year One, Dinah Lance became a founding member of the JLA. Early on, the JLA was an inexperienced and under-funded group that took on alien invasions and corruption.
Triumphantly, Kevin Feige has revealed Phase 4-6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Incredibly, it is leading to the most important Marvel event to date: Secret Wars. Originally, the impetus for the comic was to create a new line-up of playsets for the Mattel toy line. In 1984, the Secret Wars crossover event involved a cosmic entity named the Beyonder.
In 2015, the Secret Wars sequel has been one of the most popular Marvel events to date. The premise which inspires Phase 4-6 is based on incursion events that threaten the Marvel multiverse. Let’s detail how two important series and a movie in the MCU may influence Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Loki finds himself in review by the Time Variance Authority. During pruning, they review his life such as the events leading to his mother’s death and Ragnarok. After embarking on missions through the timeline, they realize Time Variants are causing an impending multiversal war. Now, Loki, Mobius and an unexpected flame must stop the apocalypse.
On the hunt for the renegade Time Variant, the TVA identifies a Loki Variant that has been sabotaging the Minutemen across the Timeline. In 2050 Alabama, the TVA and Loki locate the Variant, who is a female Loki. Eventually, she identifies herself as Sylvie Laufeydottir.
Nathaniel Richards is in fact the creator of the Time Variance Authority. In fact, the agents of the TVA are themselves animatronics captured throughout the Timeline. Originally, he had created the TVA in order to prevent a multiversal war. When Loki and Sylvie discover him, they are given the ultimatum to kill him and unleash the variants or take over in his place.
WHAT IF…? UNLEASHES THE TIME VARIANT KANG THE CONQUEROR
In the multiverse, the Watcher observes from the Nexus of All Realities and narrates its evolution but his race and he have sworn to never interfere. With the death of He Who Remains, the time variant Kang The Conqueror has been unleashed on the multiverse. As alternate timelines form, Watcher must recruit a new Guardians of the Multiverse to stop the threat.
The premise of What If…? is what would happen if Peggy Carter instead of Steve Rogers had become Captain America. When Rogers’ experiment fails, Peggy Carter takes the Super Soldier serum and becomes Captain Carter.
In an alternate timelines, Christine Palmer dies in a car accident. In order to change the past, Doctor Strange uses the Eye of Agamotto and turns to dark magic. He becomes Doctor Supreme.
On an alternate Earth, a young Thor grows up without his half-brother Loki. Also, he never learns to be a hero and organizes rowdy parties across the cosmos. When partying on Earth, he is intercepted by Captain Marvel. A rumble follows.

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Multiversal war begins. In order to stop the events from Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange must travel the Marvel multiverse, protect America Chavez and prevent the incursions from parallel universes.
At the beginning of the movie, America Chavez and an alternate Doctor Strange, perhaps Doctor Supreme, are being hunted by a monster. When she arrives in the prime universe, she tells Doctor Strange and Wong that the monster is hunting her because of her powers of dimensional travel across the Marvel multiverse.
Really, Scarlet Witch is the villain in the movie. At the end of WandaVision, she turns to Chaos Magic. In fact, she discovers America Chavez and sends the monster after her across the multiverse in order to steal her multiversal powers. And she intends to use the powers to travel to the dimension where her two children are being held captive.
AT THIS MOMENT, THERE ARE FEW DETAILS ABOUT ‘FLASH’
Despite recent news, there is no official synopsis on the ‘Flash’ movie. According to DC Movies Wiki, the movie is based on the Flashpoint storyline that gave birth to the New 52.
Namely, Barry Allen goes back in time in order to save his mother from death. However, his actions create a DC multiverse with an alternate catastrophic timeline.
Perhaps, to confirm the new direction is the Las Vegas Licensing Expo 2022. At the Expo, Flash’s and Supergirl’s costumes from the movie were exposed.
According to Den of Geek, Flash’s costume design is inspired from the New 52. On the other hand, Supergirl‘s costume is uniquely inspired from Injustice.

NEXT BATTLE OF THE WEEK: LUKE CAGE VS IRON FIST. OCTOBER 28TH.
Aside from the animated movie, the Spider-Verse crossover really changed the Spider-Man mythos.
As you all know, all different versions of Spider-Man across the multiverse are mystically connected by the Web of Life and Destiny. In fact, it is the same Web that has endowed Madame Web with clairvoyance, astral projection and telepathy.
Moreover, this explains her powerful connection to the Earth-616 Spider-Man and how she has sought to help him. In reality, the Web of Life and Destiny is responsible for the powers of all the Spider-Totems.
Namely, the Web of Life and Destiny is spun by the Master Weaver. In addition, totemic spider deities help maintain it. Particularly, Madame Web, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman and Spider-Girl are considered avatars or Spider-Totems of the Web of Life.
In many ways, the Spider-Totems seem to have a mystical connection to the Web of Life.
Let’s list five reasons why.
5 REASONS WHY SPIDER-MAN IS MYSTICALLY CONNECTED TO THE WEB OF LIFE
5. THE SPIDER-SENSE IS CONNECTED TO THE WEB OF LIFE

Dramatically, the Master Weaver intervened in Peter’s life. In The Other: Evolve or Die (2005), Spider-Man is suffering from a mysterious illness.
Mysteriously, he is affected by spells of dizziness, black outs and strange dreams. While stopping a bank robbery, he is shot by the villain the Tracer.
After a visit to the doctor, Peter finds out he is dying.
Really, the comic sets up Spider-Verse and introduces the Web of Life. Dramatically, Spider-Man dies at the hands of the mysterious vampire named Morlun.
Strangely, he is resurrected later after emerging from a cocoon. Amazingly, Spider-Man has shed his skin and his missing left eye has re-grown.
For the first time, he meets the Other who tells him that she is his opposite.
Fortunately, Spider-Man has been resurrected by the cosmic deity known as the Master Weaver. Now, Peter must accept his spider side in order to re-align his life.
2. MORLUN AND THE INHERITORS ARE THE SPIDER-TOTEMS’ NATURAL PREDATORS
Morlun. Marvel Comics.
In Spider-Verse, we find out about Morlun’s race. As matter of fact, he belongs to the Inheritors, a race of vampires from Earth-001.
Generally, they feed on humans and superhumans, though they prefer the pure energy of the Spider-Totems.
After a war with the spider deities, they imprisoned the Master Weaver.
With his connection to the Web of Life, they located the Spider-Totems of the Spider-Verse and started a war to kill them all.
After feeding on their life forces, they planned to eventually depend on lesser life-forms. Really, as Ezekiel put it, they are the Spider-Totems’ natural predators.
When Ezekiel Sims meets Spider-Man for the first time, he tells him the truth about his super powers. In reality, the spider that bit him was not by accident.
On the contrary, it was by fate. Plus, he warns Spider-Man of a threat that will eventually claim his life.
By Spider-Verse, we realize everything was building up to the Spider-Totems and the Marvel multiverse.
As matter of fact, Spider-Man and the other avatars have a mystic connection.
For example, the night Peter died at the hospital during Morlun’s attack, Spider-Woman sensed it.
Particularly, the Spider-Totems’ connection to the Web of Life allows them to travel the multiverse.
For example, the Web Warriors of Earth-001 use a Dimensional Travel Watch to travel between the realities.
The fight starts out with Lobo landing a bloody punch on Apollo. LOBO BLUNT FORCE ATTACK: 1 DAMAGE PT.
On the final page, Lobo holds Apollo in a chokehold. Quickly, Apollo punches him. Then, he headbutts Lobo. However, Lobo wins the fight by burning Apollo with his laser weapon. The fight is cut short by Midnighter.

In the Cancerverse, Thanos has willingly agreed to the ritual. Aided by the Revengers, Mar-Vell successfully summons Mistress Death. However, she kills all of the inhabitants of the Cancerverse. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4: Original Sin, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thanos are trapped in the Cancerverse. Moreover, the Guardians possess the Cosmic Cube which Thanos plans to use to free himself. During a battle, Star-Lord impressively kills Thanos with the Cosmic Cube. However, Thanos comes back to life and punches him throuh the abdomen. Eons ago, the Many Angled Ones used Mar-Vell’s cancer to rid the Earth-10011 of Death. In a necropsy ritual, the embodiment of Death was annihilated.
Then, it became the Cancerverse. As a result, in the Cancerverse, every life form is a cancer. As you known, unless irradiated, cancer cells multiply continuously, don’t undergo apoptosis and are effectively immortal. Moreover, Death does not exist there. For this reason, Mistress Death could not claim Thanos. In fact, even the Revengers killed by Death, came back to life. Here, Mistress Death cannot claim souls and her powers extend only to the Earth-616 universe.

IN UNIVERSAL AND MULTIVERSAL ANOMALIES
“SECRET WARS” REBOOTED THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE
In “Secret Wars” (2015), the Marvel multiverse is being destroyed by the multiversal entities known as the Beyonders. Only two remaining universes remain: the main Marvel universe and the Ultimate universe. In the Beyond, Doctor Doom meets with the Beyonders in order to save the remaining universes. Originlly, Molecule Man was designed by the Beyonders as a bomb that would destroy the multiverse. Using Molecule Men as bombs, Doctor Doom and Doctor Strange killed the Beyonders and stole their power.
During the incursions between Earth-616 and Earth-1610, Mister Fantastic built the Future Foundation Life Rafts to transport the survivors to the incursion points. Suffering a hull breach, they nevertheless survived and were transported to Battleworld, created by Doctor Doom. On Battleworld, Doctor Doom was worshipped as God on a world of controlled chaos. There, the Life Raft and the Cabal opposed Doom’s reign. In the end, Doom was defeated and Molecule Man destroyed Battleworld, rebooting the mainstream Marvel universe. In the end, the Ultimate universe was no more.

MILES MORALES JOINED THE MAINSTREAM MARVEL UNIVERSE
In ‘Secret Wars’ (2015) #6, the Maker’s and Reed Richards plans are set into motion. Miles Morales and Spider-Man go off to the White Room to find Doom’s source of power. There, in front of Molecule Man’s statue, they find Valeria, Doctor Doom’s daughter on Battleworld but who is actually Reed Richards’ daughter. After a brief discussion with her, the two Spider-Men enter the white room. Inside, they find Molecule Man there who asks them if they brought him something to eat. Surprisingly, Miles Morales takes out a three week-old hamburger from his pocket and gives it to Molecule Man.
Fully fed, Spider-Man asks Molecule Man about Doctor Doom’s power source. Molecule Man tells them they are looking at him. In ‘Secret Wars’ (2016) #9, Miles Morales has a flashback to that moment. In the white room, Molecule Man thanks him for the burger. It is implied that Molecule Man saved Miles Morales and his family in the new mainstream Marvel universe. In the present, the two Spider-Men are on a rooftop and after Peter checks if Miles has done his homework, the two Spider-Men swing into adventure to go beat up on bad guys.

VENOM WARNS THE MAKER SEEKS TO RE-CREATE THE ULTIMATE UNIVERSE
In ‘Venom’ (2021) #200, the Ultimate universe resurfaces. Now, Eddie Brock has become the new King in Black and is testing his super powers. After testing his omniscience, he notes the only one escaping his power is the Maker, Reed Richards’ evil counterpart from the Ultimate universe. Having obtained an artificial symbiote from the Ultimate universe, the Maker used Venom‘s symbiote to augment and heal his psyche.
Able to travel between dimensions, the Maker returned to the Ultimate universe, which was destroyed. Then, Eddie uses his super powers to meet simultaneously the Avengers, Quiet Council of Krakoa, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Silver Surfer and other groups to warn them tat the Maker will likely return to conquer Earth-616. In fact, this task has been commissioned him by the Interdimensional Council of Reeds. In all likelihood, it is possible the Ultimate universe was rebooted after “Secret Wars.”
