Wiki Submission Rules

1. Can I Submit Multiple Articles In A Day?
In order to make sure that all articles are reviewed in a timely fashion, we ask that you submit only a single article a day. As always, the Wiki will be reviewed before publication.
2. What Is A Feat?
A feat is a character’s most heroic or powerful action. It can be an action, physical, magical or mental.
3. Are All Characters’ Actions Feats?
Feats in comics can be classified into: statements of power, active or mental feats, and quantifiable feats that are active or mental. We focus only on the quantifiable feats that are based on action or a feat of the mind. In order to determine if the feat is quantifiable, it must be: stating known scientific laws or quantifiable magical effects, clear and active and measurable by scientific methods and calculations.
4. What Are Origins And Continuities?
In comics, characters have different origins and therefore fit into different continuities. In Marvel comics, the multiverse defines a character’s continuity while his origin determines his name and incarnation. At DC comics, there are different continuities based on the different crises and reboots. For example, Rebirth Superman is a reboot that fused both the Post-Crisis Superman and the New 52 Superman into one Rebirth Superman. Do a search online for characters’ origins and continuities. DC Database, Marvel Database, and Reddit are good resources. Keep these in mind.
5. What Is A Wiki?
At Database Comics, Wikis are primarily a means to provide information on characters’ power levels. We mean to provide entertainment as well as some education on how characters’ powers work and their power levels.
6. Why Are We Creating Wikis?
The purpose of creating Wikis is to build a database of feat ratings. Ultimately, we want to obtain an average to estimate characters’ Power Levels.
7. Is It Only DC And Marvel?
Though we welcome Wikis for other comic companies, we use primarily DC and Marvel for comparison.
