WHAT IS A POWER LEVEL?
A Power Level weighs the average Power Level of a given character. Since characters’ power levels fluctuate in their different incarnations, periods and issues, the Power Level reflects the average power level of a given character. In comic battles, we use the overall Power Level of the character during the story arc to get a measure of their super powers.
RULES
- Power Levels fluctuate. Taking their averages, we attempt to keep them constant.
- Since Power Levels occur in fictional settings, we attempt to find their correspondence in real world settings.
- In most instances, the Metric System is used.
- In order to calculate a Power Level:
- First, look at the Power Level in the context of the story arc.
- Second, find a feat or battle in the story arc that is quantifiable. If the Power Levels are similar, use it as an estimate.
- Third, use your knowledge of real-world science, mathematics, technology and math. Apply this knowledge to calculate the Power Level.
- Fourth, find a real-world comparison to rate the Power Level.
- Rate a character’s feat according to incarnation, continuity and time period.

Years of experience with primary, secondary and higher education. Able to pass standardized tests and work a 9-5 job. Strong ability to network and solve problems on the scale of community and region.
TRAINED:
Years of experience with theoretical science, applied science and technology. Either a combatant or a PhD, graduate or undergraduate. Works in teams of 5 or alone. Possesses technical skills. Can solve problems on the scale of community and region.
FIELD EXPERIENCE:
Is able to process less than 1 terabyte of information. Works in teams of 5 or less. Capable of destabilizing governments or terrorist organizations. Extensive years of experience with theoretical science, applied science and technology. Either an expert combatant or a PhD. Possesses strong managerial and organizational skills. Can organize teams, armies and organizations on the national scale.

Able to process the information of populations, communities and regions on the way to a national scale. HOW TO CALCULATE SUPER-STRENGTH FEATS:
Rating super-strength feats involves calculations for pulling, lifting, striking and moving. These calculations usually involve Newtonian physics. Pulling, lifting and moving feats are forces acting on an object over a distance. Rating these feats often require calculating the forces in Newtons before converting to Joules/s. Striking feats require calculations for stress, strain and Young’ Modulus. The results are often in psi, lbf, Pascals then conversion to Joules/s.
HOW TO CALCULATE ENERGY PROJECTION FEATS:
Rating energy projection feats require comparisons with man-made or natural phenomena. For example, we use clues about a foe’s durability in other issues or in the story arc, to estimate the energy projection. When SUPERMAN incinerated the Doomsday animates with his heat vision, we used Doomsday’s durability feat on Calaton to estimate the energy projection.
HOW TO CALCULATE DURABILITY FEATS:
Durability feats are rated either in terms of stress, strain, Young’s modulus or resistance to thermal radiation. The units used are either psi or Joules/s.
HOW TO CALCULATE INTELLIGENCE FEATS:
Rating intelligence feats is about calculating processing speed in bytes/s. There are two ways or more. One way is to calculate the data storage capacity in bytes then dividing by the period of time to obtain bytes/s. The second way is to perform energy conversion. We convert power in Joules/s or energy in Joules to bytes/s. We use an energy temperature to byte ratio.
