Black Bolt punched Absorbing Man made of solid light. We will calculate the energy of hypothetical solid light to estimate the impact force of Black Bolt’s punch.

NUMBER CRUNCHING

In a research experiment, scientists hypothetically created a low form of solid light. In the experiment, they created photon triplets traveling at 3000 meters per second with a fraction of an electron’s mass. We will use these hypothetical results to calculate the energy of Creel’s solid light body.

Creel’s Volume = 3.048 m * 2 m * 1 m = 6.096 m³.

Square cube law V₂ = V₁ (l₂/l₁)³ = (6.096 m³)(2 m/1 m)³ = 48.768 m³.

Creel’s 10-foot mass = dV₂ = (122.47 kg/6.096 m³)(48.768 m³) = 979.76 kg.

Then, we calculate the kinetic energy of solid light. Since they are hypothesized to travel less than light speed, we use the classical kinetic energy equation.

KE = 1/2mv² = 1/2 (979.76 kg)(3000 m/s)² = 4408920000 J.

SUPER STRENGTH

Black Bolt generated 4408920000 J of kinetic energy in order to punch the 10-foot Absorbing Man. In order to generate the punch, Black Bolt had to generate a City Block-Level of Super-Strength.
