Londinium Series: This Black History Month, the National Museum of African American History and Culture Organizes “District Treasures” for Black Families

In 2016, the National Museum of African American History and Culture opened its doors to the public.

Importantly, it is the only museum to exclusively reveal the contributions of black Americans to America.

On February 21 2025, the District Treasures
celebrates African culture in an interactive experience.

From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, tourists can have an expert interpret the historical significance of their black family heirlooms.
