Mon-El likely travelled to a sun with an active heliosphere. In our hypothesis, the Daxamite collected a small sunspot which he ejected as an interplanetary coronal mass ejection.

Mon-El generated at least 9.349869e+28 W in Super-Strength. In order to eject the ICME, Mon-El simply had to match its kinetic energy and carry it across lightyears. The feat likely required Infinite Super-Strength.
