5. THE PERFECT STORM (2000)
Certainly, Diane Lane is an acclaimed star in Hollywood. Importantly, her portrayal of Hollywood, social roles and women in the workplace have won her acclaim. With Poster of the Month contender The Perfect Storm, the actress along with George Clooney, Mark Walhberg, star the story of fishermen trapped in a storm at sea. Indeed, the show was inspired from the story of the Andrea Gail in 1991. Her work remains an entertainment about the important achievements of women in Hollywood.

As an actor and investor, Dwayne Johnson is a well-known celebrity worldwide. In 2015, the disaster movie San Andreas had an impressive promotion. With the fears of a Mayan apocalypse, an impending election and tensions, the film was a sensation. Though, the film was an important investment which ended to be an underperformance.

Negatives: Not enough reviews.
3. ARMAGEDDON (1998)
Perhaps, no 90s celebrity has had more infatuation from fans than Liv Tyler. Certainly, partly disaster, partly romance, Armageddon created a cultural revolution for millennials. With a star-studded cast, the film was successful though controversial. Really, a disaster of epic proportions.
Positives: Iconic status, Pop-Culture Phenomenon, Oscar nominee.
Negatives: More mainstream recognition is needed.
2. GODZILLA (2014)
In the world, there are Hollywood and Godzilla. Certainly, Bollywood and Nippon cinema showed an alternative with the Monsterverse and Hindu legends. Though, not properly a disaster movie, the Monsterverse deals with human extinction. Indeed, the movie features horrifying monster battles and city-destruction.
Positives: Nippon emergence, Tokusatsu evolution.
Negatives: None.
1. TTITANIC
Gloriously, Titanic has been at the top of disaster movies in Hollywood for nearly 30 years. Moreover, it once sat at the top of the All-Time Worldwide Box Office. With 11 Oscars in 1998, a biopic about the eponymous cruise boat, and a strong romance, it certified a Hollywood formula that worked for decades. Today, Leonardo DiCaprio is among Hollywood’s iconic stars.
