The Multiversus live service had been both an early financial, critical success for WB that ended this year due to underperformance.
Based on the popular WB franchises such as Batman, Looney Tunes, Rick and Morty, the series centers on a mmysterious villain’s atttempt to collect the WB multiverse. And heroes, villains must fight in a video game simulation.
According to reviews by MetaCritic, the gameplay pleases hardcore fans though it struggles to wiin new fans. At MetaCritic, the Online game has a score of 75/100.
Since we are interested in the fighting game, let’s rate the main characters’ fighting techniques and how they compare to the movies. For the most part, we are interested in strength, speed, energy projection, and damage.
So, from our video above, let’s find out which Multiversus character has the most movie-accurate fighting technique.
5. MOVIE-ACCURATE: TAZ-NADO
Usually, Taz is among the deadliest Looney Tunes. In fact, his fighting stance is usually a crouching, mysterious and exploiting technique where he has a mouth open ready to eat.
Since Multiversus is influenced by Space Jam 2 and its video game simulation, Taz’s fighting techniques show the classiic offensive-minded and open-combat Taz. In fact, his techniques reflects the movie more accurately.
And Taz-Nado is his signature move. Effectively, he uses it offensively to overwhelm his opponent and throw him/he. Though, with 8 hits of damage, the move can costs less than the movviee.

4. MOVIE-ACCURATE: AGENT SMITH BULLET RAIN
Generally, Agent Smith’s fighting moves are inspired from the classic The Matrix (1999) movie and powerset take some inspiration from the trilogy.
Really, Smith is not very imposing and his fighting moves lack the super-speed, strength, power and size of the movie. With his Bullet Rain, Smith can deal up to 12 points of damage. But there is no slow-motion.
Certainly, his gun and long-range attacks help to end the fight quick showing that he may be the best for offensive-minded players who like to overwhelm damage in a few moves.
VERDICT: LESS ACCURATE
3. MOVIE-ACCURATE: BLACK ADAM MIGHT OF KAHNDAQ
With the Black Adam (2022) movie, Black Adam and the JSA are getting some interest. Though the powerhouse is well-known, his appearance in the game is movie-accurate. In fact, Black Adam is a playable Fighter in the game.
And this video game separates itself with the simple gameplay and cartoooon design. And Black Adam’s Might of Kahndaq combos deal 75 Hits of damage. What is special about his fighting techniques is that they accurately reflect the fighht against Hawkman in the movie.

2. MOVIE-ACCURATE: MARTIAN LASER
Perhaps, one disappointment from Multiversus is the downplay in Iron Giant’s combos in terms of hits, strength and damage. The first game featured Iron Giant’s Car-Lateral Damage and other special moves.
However, our game shows moves more consistent with the 1999 movie. Usually, Iron Giant enters Rage Mode as a last resort. At the same time, this reflects an Iron Giant willing to use the Martian Laser which is inaccurate in the game.
Neverthless, the robot still deals about damage in 22 points.
VERDICT: LESS ACCURATE
1. MOVIE-ACCURATE: BUNNY HOP
In fact, Bugs Bunny is unstoppable in the game. In Multiversus, we see that the villain creates video game simulations to conquer universes.
Without a doubt, Bugs Bunny sports the most cartoony attacks in the game. Certainly, the funny attackss make Bugs warp reality. And really, Multiversus may be the most imaginative portrayal of the WB multiverse.
From the gameplay, to the fighting techniques to the pies, Bugs simply multiplieess himself with comedic effect. In 105 points of damage, the hero hops into action with catastrophe. Really, Bugs sits at the top and faithfully his special moves display Space Jam 2.
