LEVI’S FAMILY CONNECTION TO THE GREEN PROVES HE IS A HOMO MAGI

In The Swamp Thing (2021) #9, we learn the truth about Levi and the Green. In the issue, The Green has a powerful connection to Levi and his hometown in India. Originally, Levi and his brother were bonded to the Green growing up. However, Levi soon forgot about it and became a scientist as an adult working for Prescot Corporation. Determinedly, Prescot Corporation took an interest in the Green. In fact, before Levi’s birth, the company had acquired information on the Avatar of the Green.

Now, using Jennifer Reece, they baited Swamp Thing into their trap. In addition, Levi’s trauma is revealed when he recalls his father’s murder over the company’s plans to develop land in his village. Initially, Levi sided with his company’s plans despite the residents’ opposition. Evidently, given Levi’s transformations which change Swamp Thing’s permanent transformation, and his connection to the Green, we can assume the hero is a Homo Magi.

In the Cancerverse, Thanos has willingly agreed to the ritual. Aided by the Revengers, Mar-Vell successfully summons Mistress Death. However, she kills all of the inhabitants of the Cancerverse. IN THE CANCERVERSE, DEATH DOESN’T EXIST

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 4: Original Sin, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thanos are trapped in the Cancerverse. Moreover, the Guardians possess the Cosmic Cube which Thanos plans to use to free himself. During a battle, Star-Lord impressively kills Thanos with the Cosmic Cube. However, Thanos comes back to life and punches him throuh the abdomen. Eons ago, the Many Angled Ones used Mar-Vell’s cancer to rid the Earth-10011 of Death. In a necropsy ritual, the embodiment of Death was annihilated.

Then, it became the Cancerverse. As a result, in the Cancerverse, every life form is a cancer. As you known, unless irradiated, cancer cells multiply continuously, don’t undergo apoptosis and are effectively immortal. Moreover, Death does not exist there. For this reason, Mistress Death could not claim Thanos. In fact, even the Revengers killed by Death, came back to life. Here, Mistress Death cannot claim souls and her powers extend only to the Earth-616 universe.

WITH WEAPON X CANADA STARTED A SUPER-SOLDIER ARMS RACE

For his part, Canadian paratrooper Howlett was enrolled into the Weapon X program. In 1943, in Alberta, Canada, Dr. Abraham Cornelius successfully created the first mutant. In fact, Howlett was dubbed Mutant Zero. On awakening, James’ animality rose and he attempted to escape. Reaching the top of the snowy mountain, he was shot in the head. Amazingly, he survived as his wounds healed. Later, they brought him back to base. In fact, it was in response to the development of the Super-Soldier Serum. After, Canada created its own variants.

Indeed, Dr. Cornelius discovered the mutant gene. Incredibly, the Weapon X program managed to activate the mutant gene. Hence, Mutant Zero would develop super powers. Intently, they planned on spreading the gene creating the mutant race. In the 2000s, Weapon X became a counter-terrorism subdivision of S.H.I.E.L.D. Tragically, mutants were captured and sent on missions. Effectively, mutants were considered Super-Soldiers by governments. In fact, they participated to fight wars across the world. Particularly, the Super-Soldier vs mutant war erupted in Ultimate War (2003).

IN UNIVERSAL AND MULTIVERSAL ANOMALIES

MAKER’S ORIGIN STORY

In the “Ultimatum” event, Magneto creates cataclysmic events on Earth-1610. Previously, Hawkeye‘s assassination attempt on Magneto was thwarted at the cost of Quicksilver’s life. Indeed, in retaliation for the deaths of his children, Wanda and Pietro. Using Thor’s Mjolnir, Magneto shifted the planet’s magnetic poles. As a result of the cataclysms, millions died including several Ultimate heroes.

In order to regain a sense of normalcy, Reed Richards proposed to Invisible Woman. However, Sue rejected his proposal. In ‘Ultimate Comics Ultimates’ (2013) #30, Reed’s descent towards Maker is evident. A week after the Ultimatum, Kang the Conqueror visited Reed from the future. Shockingly, Kang revealed herself as Sue Storm. Incredibly, she commissioned Reed to gather the Infinity Gauntlet. In short, she wanted to prevent the end of the Ultimate Universe. In the end, the path would lead to Mister Fantastic becoming the Maker.

AFTER “KING IN BLACK,” MAKER IS A MULTIVERSAL ANOMALY

In “Venom” (2021) #200, Eddie Brock is adjusting to being the new King in Black. As the God of the Symbiotes, Eddie can control all the symbiotes. Really, all that ever existed and he can see through them. In fact, he can pilot them to multiples places at the same time. Moreover, his omniscience allows him to see Knull’s first war against the God of Light. Curiously, Eddie speculates he may be able to travel through the timestream and alter history.

Nevertheless, the only being that has ecaped his omniscience is Maker. In ‘Venom’ (2020) #26, Maker had successfully created an artificial symbiote. To this end, he had used an Earth-616 symbiote. Sinisterly, he had planned to travel to the Ultimate Universe. However, his plan was foiled by a man in an Iron Man-esque armor. Finally, Maker was transported to the Ultimate Universe through a dimensional rift. In a sense, he became a multiversal anomaly.

IN ORDER TO JOIN THE COUNCIL OF REEDS, MAKER MIGHT CONQUER EDDIE AND DYLAN BROCK

In ‘Venom’ (2021) #200, Eddie appears at multiple locations in the Marvel Universe. Seriously, he warns the different heroes of Maker’s master plan. Ultimately, Maker seeks to join the Council of Reeds. Ironically, all members of the Council come from stable universes. Decisively, they have tasked Maker to restore the Ultimate Universe. Ultimately, it is the condition before he can join.

As Eddie reveals, Maker’s plan likely involves erasing the Marvel Universe. On top, he would rebuild the Ultimate Universe. Initially, his work for the Council is under the code name “Project Oversight.” Historically, Maker was interested in symbiotes for dimensional travel. Logically, Eddie and Dylan would be his targets. Perhaps, he would raise his own army of synthetic symbiotes.

THE JUSTICE LEAGUE LOST THE BATTLE AGAINST PERPETUA

In ‘Dark Nights: Death Metal’ (2020) #1, Wally West in Hellscape on Earth 0 recapitulates the Justice League’s battle against Perpetua to Wonder Woman. In the beginning, Perpetua’s origin story is told: She is a being of the Void tasked with creating multiverses. Wally explains that there are two poles of energy: positive or connective energy also called anti-crisis energy and crisis energy.

To sum, connective energy connects all histories in the DC Universe making the past, the present and the future matter; crisis energy focuses on the present and the self with people not remembering the past. They are both parts of the seven forces of the universe. When Perpetua created the Prime multiverse she used anti-crisis energy in order to restart it infinitely. Destructively, she wanted a multiverse that would be vampiric and prey on others.

When Perpetua’s brothers found out, they trapped her in the Source Wall so she would learn from the growing multiverse. However, Perpetua continued to create crisis after crisis. During Barbatos’ invasion, the Source Wall was shatttered and Perpetua was freed. Not long ago, Doctor Manhattan who is a being of connective energy attempted to heal the fractures in the DC multiverse but with no success.

So the Quintessence gathered Doctor Manhattan’s connective energy and gave it to the Justice League. Finally, they fought Perpetua in a terrible battle that left both forces exhausted and created a blast so powerful it burned out the sun. Using the Batman Who Laughs, Perpetua has a conduit to the dark multiverse where crises are happening forever.

WONDER WOMAN PLANS TO CREATE THE FIRST ANTI-CRISIS

In ‘Dark Knights: Death Metal Trinity Crisis’ (2020) #1, Wonder Woman sets her plan into motion in order to create the first anti-crisis. Meeting the Justice League, she informs them that Perpetua is using the crisis energy from three worlds created in the Dark multiverse by the Batman Who Laughs. In those worlds, the three major crises (“Crisis On Infinite Earths”, “Infinite Crisis” and “Final Crisis”) are occurring forever supplying Perpetua with Crisis Energy. Hence, the plan is for Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Jonah Hex and Harley Quinn to infiltrate Castle Bat to stop it.

At the same time, Superman orders Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl to destroy Perpetua’s throne while the Lanterns destroy the antennae to free people. The ultimate goal is to re-direct the energies stored in three Alfred Boxes to Wally West in order to restart the Prime multiverse. Despite traps and surprises along the way, the DC Trinity makes it to Castle Bat. There, they travel to three worlds: Batman travels to Crisis On Infinitie Earths, Superman to Final Crisis and Wonder Woman to Infinite Crisis. However, their plans are foiled by the Batman Who Laughs though Wonder Woman succeeds in recruiting Superboy-Prime.

WONDER WOMAN SEES ALL DC HISTORY MATTERS WITH THE ANTI-CRISIS ENERGY, FORCING THE HANDS TO RESTORE THE DC MULTIVERSE

In ‘Dark Nights: Death Metal’ (2021) #7, Wonder Woman engages in an epic battle across time and space against the Batman Who Laughs. The Darkest Knight informs Wonder Woman of three things: he is stronger than she is, he can recreate the DC multiverse and kill the Hands, and the Hands are going to erase the Prime multiverse if he doesn’t take her offer. Using the Connective energy, Diana sees the importance of DC history and of how every life is connected.

As the two fighters bolt into the Death Sun that is the end of the DC multiverse, Wonder Woman understands she must allow all of it to end. As she strikes the Batman Who Laughs one final time, there is an explosion at the center of the Death Sun. Then, there is nothing. Finally, there is Light. Wonder Woman is greeted by the Hand who takes her form and informs her that the DC multiverse will be restored with infinite possibilities.

Fan Theory: Miles Morales In The Mainstream Marvel Universe Means The Ultimate Universe Was Rebooted After Secret Wars

IN UNIVERSAL AND MULTIVERSAL ANOMALIES

“SECRET WARS” REBOOTED THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE

In “Secret Wars” (2015), the Marvel multiverse is being destroyed by the multiversal entities known as the Beyonders. Only two remaining universes remain: the main Marvel universe and the Ultimate universe. In the Beyond, Doctor Doom meets with the Beyonders in order to save the remaining universes. Originlly, Molecule Man was designed by the Beyonders as a bomb that would destroy the multiverse. Using Molecule Men as bombs, Doctor Doom and Doctor Strange killed the Beyonders and stole their power.

During the incursions between Earth-616 and Earth-1610, Mister Fantastic built the Future Foundation Life Rafts to transport the survivors to the incursion points. Suffering a hull breach, they nevertheless survived and were transported to Battleworld, created by Doctor Doom. On Battleworld, Doctor Doom was worshipped as God on a world of controlled chaos. There, the Life Raft and the Cabal opposed Doom’s reign. In the end, Doom was defeated and Molecule Man destroyed Battleworld, rebooting the mainstream Marvel universe. In the end, the Ultimate universe was no more.

MILES MORALES JOINED THE MAINSTREAM MARVEL UNIVERSE

In ‘Secret Wars’ (2015) #6, the Maker’s and Reed Richards plans are set into motion. Miles Morales and Spider-Man go off to the White Room to find Doom’s source of power. There, in front of Molecule Man’s statue, they find Valeria, Doctor Doom’s daughter on Battleworld but who is actually Reed Richards’ daughter. After a brief discussion with her, the two Spider-Men enter the white room. Inside, they find Molecule Man there who asks them if they brought him something to eat. Surprisingly, Miles Morales takes out a three week-old hamburger from his pocket and gives it to Molecule Man.

Fully fed, Spider-Man asks Molecule Man about Doctor Doom’s power source. Molecule Man tells them they are looking at him. In ‘Secret Wars’ (2016) #9, Miles Morales has a flashback to that moment. In the white room, Molecule Man thanks him for the burger. It is implied that Molecule Man saved Miles Morales and his family in the new mainstream Marvel universe. In the present, the two Spider-Men are on a rooftop and after Peter checks if Miles has done his homework, the two Spider-Men swing into adventure to go beat up on bad guys.

VENOM WARNS THE MAKER SEEKS TO RE-CREATE THE ULTIMATE UNIVERSE

In ‘Venom’ (2021) #200, the Ultimate universe resurfaces. Now, Eddie Brock has become the new King in Black and is testing his super powers. After testing his omniscience, he notes the only one escaping his power is the Maker, Reed Richards’ evil counterpart from the Ultimate universe. Having obtained an artificial symbiote from the Ultimate universe, the Maker used Venom‘s symbiote to augment and heal his psyche.

Able to travel between dimensions, the Maker returned to the Ultimate universe, which was destroyed. Then, Eddie uses his super powers to meet simultaneously the Avengers, Quiet Council of Krakoa, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Silver Surfer and other groups to warn them tat the Maker will likely return to conquer Earth-616. In fact, this task has been commissioned him by the Interdimensional Council of Reeds. In all likelihood, it is possible the Ultimate universe was rebooted after “Secret Wars.”

In a solicit, DC Comics revealed the purpose of the upcoming ‘Superman and The Authority’ mini-series.

Superman And The Authority #1 (Of 4)

  • Written by GRANT MORRISON
  • Art by MIKEL JANIN
  • On Sale July 20
  • If Superman is to free the prisoners of Warworld, he’s going to need help, the kind of help that doesn’t scream “Justice League.” Fortunately, multi-Eisner Award-winning writer Grant Morrison (Wonder Woman: Earth One, The Green Lantern) and fan-favorite artist Mikel Janín (Batman, Future State: Superman: Worlds of War) have the solution in the form of a new four-issue limited series, Superman and The Authority.
  • Launching July 20, this new team will be led by Manchester Black, and combine original members Midnighter and Apollo with new members Enchantress and Natasha Irons, as well as new versions of Lightray and O.M.A.C. This new team will have to learn to work together, and fast, as the Ultra-Humanite has formed his own team of villains to take out the Man of Steel.
  • This new limited series will help launch an all-new status quo for Superman, setting up story elements that will impact both Action Comics and Superman: Son of Kal-El in the months to come.

THE SYNMAR UTOPICA BATTLE PROVES SUPERMAN IS THE TRUE PROTECTOR OF THE GALAXY

Bleeding Cool reported a year ago on the ‘Superman and the Authority’ scoop. DC wanted to shake the Superman status-quo and showed Superman at the head of a more violent and brutal form of superheroing as featured on Warworld. The article hinted at Superman becoming King of The Earth in relation to the United Planets. This is also a reference to the “Mythological” storyline that ran in ‘Superman’ #25-28.

In ‘Superman’ (2020) #25, we are told the origin story of the Synmar alien Eisno Alkor. The aliens on Synmar watched the destruction of Krypton and Kal-El rocketed to Earth. They understood that a Kryptonian exposed to a yellow sun could become a light-god. Some Synmar wanted to destroy the child but they were stopped by President Dreti who told them the Lords of Light, deities worshipped on Synmar, strictly forbid the murder of an innocent child.

Eisno Alkor was a young soldier chosen by the Synmar as a protection against Superman. President Dreti had a conversation with Eisno and told him he would represent the Synmar across the galaxy. Eisno accepted the duty. Back from a successful space mission, the people celebrate Eisno and declare Synmar Utopica. That night, the officials at the Synmar Palace are murdered with images of Superman hanging there. In ‘Superman’ #26-27, Synmar and Superman battle at the Daily Planet and in the Phantom Zone.

In ‘Superman’ (2021) #28, Synmar brings Superman to Synmar in order to inspire the people. Galana, Synmar’s light partner, connects Superman to the light of Synmar. Galana explains to Superman that Synmar Utopica was meant to protect Synmar against Superman. However, Eisno or Synmar Utopica became a conqueror and murdered his people. Superman offers his help. Since Synmar orbits an orange sun, Galana equips Superman with a suit to fight evenly. Superman emerges victorious from his battle with Synmar.

WHAT IS THE UNITED PLANETS BRIGADE?

The United Planets is a governing body active in the 30th and the 31st centuries. They are defended by the Legion of Superheroes and the Science Police. In the 21st century, the United Planets were created by Superman’s son, Jonathan Kent, soon afterward being offered a place among the Legion of Superheroes.

The United Planets Brigade are a powerful cosmic force that intervene in the inter-galactic conflict between Superman and Synmar. After Superman and the Synmar military have ended Eisno Akor’s rule, the United Planets intervene to cease the battle. The fan theory is that, ‘Superman and the Authority’ on Warworld foreshadows Superman becoming the protector of the Milky Way galaxy.

Though the other members of the brigade are completely unknown, readers will recognize the provenance of several members. Earlier in the series, it was revealed that the Synmar have a history of conflict with the winged Thanagarians, so the presence of a leader in traditional Hawkman armor isn’t surprising. Then there’s Prince Zerep of Tamaran, a completely new character from the homeworld of popular Teen Titans member Starfire. Sharing Tamaranean physiology, Zerep possesses the same power set as Starfire, including energy absorption and channeling, flight, along with superhuman strength and durability. This gathering represents some of the supreme powers of the DC Universe offering up their delegates – there’s even an armored Dominator near the front of the group.
