As the Crime Syndicate hunts down the few heroes left foolish enough to challenge them–including Batman’s protege, Dick Grayson. But Owlman has other plans for Nightwing…and Owlman’s teammate: the most deadly being on the planet: Ultraman! Also, Cyborg is one of the lone Justice League members left to fight against the villains that have taken over. How can he possibly find a way to defeat them? Who can he turn to? Two words: Metal Men!

New York Times best-selling writer Geoff Johns (GREEN LANTERN, BATMAN: EARTH ONE) continues the Forever Evil event, as the Justice League must find a way to defeat their deadly mirror images–the Crime Syndicate!

Critically, Justice League Vol. 5: Forever Heroes (The New 52) (Justice League: the New 52) is the most heroic story arc of the New 52. In fact, it tells the origin story of the Metal Men in the New 52 and Cyborg’s recruit of the team during Forever Evil.

Together, now DC CCO Geoff Johns and superstar artist Doug Mahnke collaborate on the crossover. Really, the writing shines on the heroism of the Metal Men.

Indeed, the art in the book is characteristic of the New 52: heroic, detailed and colorful. Moreover, Cyborg vs Grid.

Indeed, share this Hardcover comic to fans of Cyborg, the Metal Men and on the occasion of science fairs. Definitely, it is worth its price and will leave you wanting for more Cyborg! And the Metal Men!

To begin, Justice League Vol. 5: Forever Heroes (The New 52) (Justice League: the New 52) was the turning point of the New 52. With the Justice League imprisoned, Cyborg recruits the Metal Men to fight the Crime Syndicate.

Really, the comic showcases why the Metal Men are the DC Universe‘s last line of defense against world threats. In addition, we learn of the Metal Men’s origin story and why they are the first A.I. on Prime Earth.

The comic is good for your New 52 collection. You will definitely love the epic scope, the science references and the heroism. Together, collect with Trinity War and the main Forever Evil storyline.

This product has 415 global ratings with an average customer review rating of 4.7 out of 5.

POSITIVE REVIEW

The customer review said: “It’s a synopsis of the crime syndicate, characters and origins, and leads into the Forever evil storyline. So if you feel like you’re missing something between Trinity War and Forever Evil, then get this!”

NEGATIVE REVIEW

There are 7 negative global ratings. One negative customer review pointed the repetitive plot: “What happened, who are these people? Well they are from Trinity war/forever evil. And Johns will tell you the origins of each one as he zzzzz, oh I’m sorry, I just fell asleep waiting for the summary to end. Seriously, summarizing this thing is to much. If you like Johns Blackest night, this is more of the same. You need to collect eight series to get one “story” without any real resolution.”

Overall, this comic was great.

CONCLUSION

POSITIVE:

  • Paperback and Hardcover formats available.
  • Kindle & Comixology formats available.
  • Great New 52 storyline.
  • Great customer reviews.

NEGATIVE:

  • Repetitive plot.

POSITIVE REVIEW

The customer review said: “bought as a gift.”

NEGATIVE REVIEW

There are 11 negative global ratings. One negative review pointed the poor writing: “I really want to like Justice League, I do. The first half of this book was pretty good, the second half ho hum. But the hard truth is that the banner title of DC has been pretty darn mediocre so far. Group stories are hard to tell, but most of the characters are simply not fleshed out. The big evil is too vague, the action rote. The art is good, but there is no real sense of group dynamics or living characters here.”

Overall, this comic was good.

CONCLUSION

NEGATIVE:

  • Poor writing.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Federal forces are sent to capture Cyborg and his technology-but things take a bizarre twist when tensions rise among members of the Justice League, who are split over what Cyborg should do.

Shazam doesn’t understand why Cyborg won’t go along with the federal agents. Could this be the moment that ends their friendship?

Critically, ‘Cyborg’ (1991) #9, is one of the best Cyborg stories. With the passage of the Federal Cybernetic Regulation Act, the federal government intends to confiscate Cyborg and his alien technology. However, tensions rise between Shazam and Cyborg when the latter opposes the decision.

Together, writer David F. Walker and a team of artists collaborate on the story. Though optimistic, the writing shines on the relationships among the different characters. Nevertheless, the art in the book is characteristic of the New 52: big, bold, fun. Moreover, Shazam vs Cyborg!

Indeed, share this graphic novel to fans of Cyborg and for your children’s science fairs. Definitely, it is worth its price and will leave you wanting for more Cyborg! And Shazam!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND SCORES

To begin, this comic foreshadows an important event in Cyborg history. Here, Cyborg’s evolution blurs the lines between human and machine. Dangerously, the federal government and a mysterious alien army threaten Earth. And Cyborg must choose between the Justice League and the law.

The comic is excellent for your collection. Cyborg Vol. 1: Unplugged precedes this comic. And this comic is collected in Cyborg Vol. 2: Enemy of the State. You will definitely love the color palette, the characters’ muscular physiques and friendly smiles.

This is the comic to own in order to build your Comixology collection.
