Really, the comic showcases why the Metal Men are the DC Universe‘s last line of defense against world threats. In addition, we learn of the Metal Men’s origin story and why they are the first A.I. on Prime Earth.
The comic is good for your New 52 collection. You will definitely love the epic scope, the science references and the heroism. Together, collect with Trinity War and the main Forever Evil storyline.

And Johns will tell you the origins of each one as he zzzzz, oh I’m sorry, I just fell asleep waiting for the summary to end. Seriously, summarizing this thing is to much. If you like Johns Blackest night, this is more of the same. You need to collect eight series to get one “story” without any real resolution.”
