PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Collects Immortal Hulk #1-5 and material from Avengers (2016) #684 by Jim Zub and Mark Waid.
Horror has a name. You’d never notice the man. He doesn’t like to be noticed. He’s quiet. Calm. If someone were to shoot him in the head…all he’d do is die. Until night falls — and someone else gets up again. The man’s name is Banner. The horror is the Immortal Hulk! And trouble has a way of following them both. As reporter Jackie McGee tries to put together the pieces, Banner treads a lonely path from town to town, finding murder, mystery and tragedy as he goes. And what Banner finds, the Hulk smashes! Elsewhere, the hero called Sasquatch can’t help but feel involved. In many ways, he’s Banner’s equal — and his opposite. Sasquatch is about to risk his life by looking for the man — and finding the monster!
Critically, Immortal Hulk Vol. 1: Or Is He Both? (Immortal Hulk (2018-2021)) is the best Hulk story arc in recent memory. In fact, it tells of Hulk’s resurrection after Bruce Banner’s brutal death and his new-found immortality.
Together, writer Al Ewing and Joe Bennett collaborate on the comic. Really, the writing shines on the horror of Immortal Hulk. Indeed, the art in the book is characteristic of the Fresh Start: detailed, perspective and depth, and with hues.
Indeed, share this Kindle & Comixology comic to fans of Hulk and on the occasion of Comic-Cons. Definitely, it is worth its price and will leave you wanting for more Hulk! And Sasquatch!

CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND SCORES
To begin, Immortal Hulk Vol. 1: Or Is He Both? (Immortal Hulk (2018-2021)) is Immortal Hulk’s great debut in the Fresh Start. When Hulk is shot by a gunman at a gas station, he rises from the dead in the morgue. In a macabre twist, he hunts down the killer and his gang.
Really, the comic showcases the horror genre with skill. Perhaps, the truest incarnation of the hero with respect with his first appearance in Incredible Hulk (1962-1999) #1. In fact, a story arc that adapts classic Hulk mythos such as Jackie McGee and the gamma-irradiated humans.
The comic is good for your Hulk collection. You will definitely love the pencils, the level of detail and the multiple deaths.
This product has 847 global ratings with an average customer review rating of 4.7 out of 5.
POSITIVE REVIEW
The customer review said: “Simply amazing! Or is that incredible? The writer really gets the classic horror feel to the early Hulk stories and does a great job. This is one of the best Hulk comic collections I’ve read in years & years. It’s dark, moody, and suspenseful all at the same time! Plus, he even digs deep in to old school Hulk continuity without making things difficult to new readers. Love the inclusion of some of the shout outs to old Hulk minutiae like Del Fry & Jackie McGee (homages to the old TV show), Trime & Buscema, and the gamma irradiated characters from early on in PAD’s classic run. I really cannot wait for the next volume.”
NEGATIVE REVIEW
There are 30 negative global ratings. One negative review pointed the poor comic condition: “Received the book today and it was practically bent in half and ripped on the binding. Most of the pages do not want to open because of the bend and rip. I know it’s just a trade but I don’t even want to read it like this.”
Overall, this comic was great.
