IN HOLIDAYS
THIS FEBRUARY, CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH
In order to celebrate the achievements of Black Americans in U.S. history, Black History Month is celebrated in February every year. According to a 2021 research by Collage Group, 76 percent of Black Americans celebrate the month and 24 percent of Asians and Hispanics also. We have some ideas for fans to celebrate the event.
Idea 1: Our first idea is for members of all faiths to attend a religious service in gratitude to a higher power. Among the pioneers of Civil Rights movement in America were strong men and women of faith, such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Rosa Parks.
Idea 2: Our second idea is for people of all races to participate at a community event or social. The Black community is known to be a welcoming and caring community that values social life and connection among people. For his part, Pat at times parties with like-minded people to support his relative’s businesses.
Idea 3: Our third idea is for families to take a trip to the National Museum of African American History & Culture. This month, The Sweet Home Café brings families together to celebrate Black hospitality and food.
Idea 4: Our fourth idea is for comic collectors to purchase some of the trending Black characters this month. Currently, Cyborg‘s exploits with the Justice League is generating engagements on social media from fans.
Idea 5: Our fifth idea is for theater-lovers. We invite our visitors to support the Broadway Inbound touring “Chicago” in tribute of famed Black comedian Bert Williams. We love Vaudeville and recognize it as a pioneer in Black entertainment.
Cheers,
