This year, Chicago by Broadway Inbound is touring. Interestingly, the show is a tale of fortune, fame and glamour set in the Windy City. Importantly, James T. Lane reprises his full-time role in the show as mechanic Amos Hart, a mechanic whose vaudeville is inspired by famous black legend Bert Williams.

• While a star with the Ziegfeld Follies, Williams once produced hundred dollar bills to buy drinks to everyone at the bar when the bartender hiked prices to refuse him service.
