In the beginning panels of Boruto, Vol 1, Kawaki and a teenage shinobi Boruto appear years into the future where Naruto is dead. With themes of sibling rivalry, the series addresses the adopted son, Kawaki’s love for Naruto and how it eventually leads him to switch lives with Boruto. With alternate timelines, Boruto shows us what would have happened if the shinobi had not been Naruto’s son.

2. TV: BAD PARENTING LEADS TO SCIENTIFIC NINJA TOOL

In episode (2020) #54, Boruto makes a difficult decision after Naruto breaks his promise. In fact, after Boruto meets Sasuke in the first, he asks him to make him his student. Though, he must learn the Rasengan before. Instead, frustrated at the task, Boruto uses a scientific ninja tool from Katasuke to learn the technique and attempt the chunin exam.

1. MANGA: NARUTO’S BRIGHTER TONE IS NARUTO’S LEGACY

Perhaps, the best thing about Next Generations, is the brighter tone. Though Boruto is a difficult child, he lives in peace after the war. And he has a brighter future with a family, a working father, a loving mother, sister and an education. Indeed, Hineta reminds Boruto that Naruto was an outcast, orphan with the constant fear of death. It’s incredible that he has lifted his curse and bestowed a brighter life to the next generation as Lord Seventh.
