S.T.A.R. Labs has been associated with Superman and Metropolis, as the future of the Man of Tomorrow. It has served as backup for Superman, Cyborg and the Teen Titans. Superman has had a scientific advisor named Dr. Emil Hamilton, who is a former S.T.A.R. Labs employee.

S.T.A.R. Labs is Superman’s project for advanced science since the Man of Steel has entrusted it with the knowledge of his super powers and weaknesses.
