IN GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY
#WESTANDWITHRENEEANDLOIS
In Lois Lane (2019) #1, Lois Lane uncovers a financial conspiracy that involves the U.S. government and its foreign policy. At a White House press meeting, Lois questions the White House press secretary Lee-Ann McCarthy. Specifically, she mentions the U.S. government’s donations from financial companies in exchange for earmarks to build concentration camps for immigrants. Pointedly, Lois asks if the government is funding the separation of children from their families.
Immediately, Lois is stopped, escorted outside and removed from the White House press corps. Later, Lois contacts Renee Montoya to begin her investigation. A propos, during the Trump administration, the President’s ICE raids unfortunately led to many immigrant families separated at camps. In addition, in keeping with the comic’s title, Donald Trump called the press the “Enemy of the People.” Certainly, #WeStandWithReneeandLois against financial corruption.

In Lois Lane (2020) #7, Renee meets Lois Lane at her hotel. There, she reveals she uncovered a half million dollar conspiracy. Namely, Larry Shaw of Agger & Shaw Capital Investments hired his fixer Mitchell Couch.
In fact, with a half million dollars, his objective is to kill Lois Lane. Interestingly, Agger & Shaw donated 8.5 million dollars to the U.S. government.
