Below, you can read our Top 3 Spider-Man lines from the series.
3. CAPTAIN UNIVERSE
In Spider-Verse (2015), Morlun and the Inheritors, a race of multiversal vampires, are hunting Spider-Totems in the multiverse. Perhaps, Spider-Man’s greatest event in recent times. When Spider-Man and his alternate versions have nowhere to hide, they end up on Earth-13. In Amazing Spider-Man (2015) #9, they meet Captain Universe who tells them he can protect them with the Enigma Force: “ I’ve kept the powers of a god. The Inheritors would be foolish to face me here. And as long as the rest of you stay in my world, I can keep you safe.” As it turns out, it proved incorrect.

Importantly, Into the Spider-Verse pays homage to Spider-Verse (2015) Volume 2. Though Spider-Man India does not appear in the movie and first appears in Across the Spider-Verse. When Pavitr Prabhakar of Earth-50101 gains the spider powers from a yogi, he learns that with great power comes responsibility when his uncle Bhim is killed. In Spider-Verse (2015) #1, Spider-Man reveals his inadequacy about the mantle: “You feel as I do, don’t you? That you are a puzzle piece that does not fit. That you have known this world all your life, yet it does not feel like home. We do not belong here, do we?”

1. SPIDER-WOMAN
In the movie, Spider-Woman may be the most popular character. Certainly, since she is a version of Gwendolyn Stacy and she knows Peter B Parker, fans love her. In the second Spider-Verse event, Spider-Woman must protect Spider-Man from venom. And she let’s the web-slinger know the arduousness of the task: “So I’m saving a grown man from a monster. Not the worst way for a teenage girl to spend her Friday evening.“
