IMAGE DAY
IN WINTER
This fall, we celebrate two Image comics new releases. Today, we celebrate NORMALMAN 40TH ANNIVERSARY OMNIBUS HC.
NORMAL MAN
To begin the winter, we have a pastiche of the Superman story. Image Comics co-founder Jim Valentino celebrates 40 years of the hero named normalman.
His origin story goes:
Rocketed into space by his junior CPA father, who was convinced his home world was going to explode (it didn’t). He landed on the planet LEVRAM (read it backwards) where everyone, except him, had super-powers! Making him the world’s only normal man. Befriended by the guileless, yet brainless CAPTAIN EVERYTHING normalman’s only goal in life is to escape this mad world!
IMAGE COMICS TOP PICKS THIS WEEK
Last year, Top Cow Productions announced its team-up with EP1T0ME Studios for the new noir, horror and surrealist series called Destiny Gate.
In Destiny Gate #4, writer Ryan Cady, artists Simon Gough and Christian Dibari tell the story of Michael Slate as he uncovers the truth about his trip when he travels back home.
