WHAT IS DC UNIVERSE?

In 2023, DC Studios rebooted the DC Universe with The Flash and ended the DC Extended Universe. Initially, PG-13 Blue Beetle was released as the first DC Universe movie. Later, James Gunn revealed the DC Universe with Superman (2025).

With the TV-MA Creature Commandos, Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters officially launches the DC Universe. Though, the DCU also launches with Superman. Let’s list the reasons why Superman’s Horror-style may contradict the DC Universe and reflect genre unpopularity in its launch.
