FOR KOWALSKI: RYAN SURVIVES AND LANDS ON EARTH

After Matt saves Ryan, she manages to jettison a rocket from a Chinese satellite back to Earth. At the same time, she has a near-death experience from oxygen deprivation that causes her to have false visions of Matt who helps her.

Despite a harrowing trip, and multiple failures, her rocket lands in China and she manages to remove her spacesuit and recover from downing.

BRAVE KOWALSKI: SACRIFICE WAS NECESSARY

Previously, there was only enough oxygen left for one person. Though Matt had more experience and chances of survival, he did his military duty to protect Ryan.

Hence, we question whether there was a right or wrong decision. Perhaps, only a decision about survival.
