On mission to the Ghost Sector with ‘Justice League: Odyssey‘, members of the team were taken over by Darkseid as his New Gods.

I, Jessica Cruz, am its sole remaining member. With my ring at 2% power, I launched an assault on Darkseid and was met with a blast of the Omega Effect, that left me for dead.

Then, a mysterious force took over me. The Omega Effect merged with my remaining Green Lantern power. I became, an Omega Lantern.

Unbeknownst to myself in the Ghost Sector, a fraction of my mind entered Hypertime with my Green Lantern ring, seeking to re-arrange events at the exact moment of my death.

My ring sought to contact the Alpha Lanterns, and pulled up information on: the Alpha Effect.
