AFTER A BRUSH WITH DEATH, KNOCKOUT MOVES IN WITH SUPERBOY

In ‘Superboy’ (1995) #22, Knockout comes to Hawaii and decides to move in with Superboy. Firstly, Superboy returns from his trip to the 31st century. As a result, the Legion of Superheroes have gifted Superboy with a Legion Flight Ring. Because of his success, Superboy is elated.

As Superboy celebrates, Knockout attacks him on the beach of The Compound, in Hawaii. Quickly, she is on top of him. Then, Superboy responds and knocks her into the waters. Thrilled, Knockout comes out laughing. After her brush with death during the Suicide Squad mission, Knockout finally decides to move in with Superboy. Evidently, Superboy is surprised.

AFTER A PLANE ACCIDENT, KILLER FROST COMES TO HAWAII

In the next few pages, we turn our attention to Killer Frost. After a plane accident in the Hawaiian airspace, Frost emerges from the wreckage. During the “Underworld Unleashed” event, the supervillain’s heat absorption powers have been amped by the demon Neron. Elsewhere, at the Compound, the Boy of Steel notices that it is snowing. Subsequently, after giving Roxanne his Legion Flight Ring to watch after, Superboy flies away with Knockout in order to investigate.

Normally, temperatures do not reach below 60 degress in Hawaii as reporter Tana Moon states in her reporting. However, Frost has brought a blizzard to Honolulu, converting the city into “a cold, crystalline palace.”1 Later, during the battle between Killer Frost and Superboy and Knockout, we find out that the supervillain is headed for the volcano Kilauea Caldera.

SUPERBOY’S AND KNOCKOUT’S GROOVY TEAM-UP ENDS UP IN A KISS

Decisively, Superboy uses his TTK to end the fight then Knockout slams a gas tank onto Killer Frost. Finally, the fight ends with the superhero pair’s victory. If Knockout is fire, Superboy is ice. However, while looking for the heroine amidst the fire, Knockout grabs Superboy from behind.

In conclusion, the powerhouse kisses the Boy of Steel. Moreover, Knockout tells him the thrill of the fight makes her come alive and she promises to teach Superboy. Later, Tana Moon reports that Killer Frost’s body is nowhere to be found.
