SYNOPSIS
Three fighter jets arrive on an island and intend to destroy Doomsday. But, their jets are destroyed in proximity to the monster. Superman arrives and saves them. When he returns to the island, it is in ruins and Doomsday has vanished.
The world-wide hunt for the monster begins. In Botswana, Wonder Woman arrives first on the scene of Steel’s battle against the rampaging behemoth.

BEST DC COMICS ARTISTS
To begin, the art is sci-fi DC art. The artist on the series is Ken Lashley. In 2012, the artist rose to prominence for his work on X-Men. After, he landed an Excalibur run and X-Men: Gold. Importantly, the artist has done character designs for Hasbro and Lucasfilm. In his popular masterpiece, the artist’s pencils have the sci-fi scenery with the seriousness of the DC Universe.
Certainly, the coloring by Sunny Ho adds to the sci-fi and epic. In addition, Ken Lashley’s inking is a highlight in this issue. Though Lashley’s pencils create a sci-fi and almost horror feel, his characters have distinctiveness in the purple and black shading of the panels. Importantly, the comic excels at action and the page on the left shows the artist’s masterpiece!
THE FIGHT
In Botswana, Wonder Woman hunts down Doomsday. There, she rescues Steel from the monster. Then, she engages the behemoth in a brief fight.
