‘Superman: War Of The Supermen’ (2010) showcased why the Phantom Zone is hell. On the other hand, billions of Kryptonians could have been saved. If Jor-El’s plan to put them in the Phantom Zone had been enacted, the Kryptonian race would have survived the destruction of Krypton.
