AT THE END OF FALL OF THE MUTANTS, X-FACTOR REVEALED THEIR IDENTITIES
From the beginning, it was a tale about mutant struggle. What other trailblazers had accomplished before, had prepare for this moment. In front of cameras, pens and interrogators, Scott passionately made his public announcement. Yes, having saved New York from the cataclysmic ambitions of Apocalypse and the bigotry of Cameron Hodge's The Right, it was time to come out. Jubilantly, the media had celebrated them as heroes. Gloriously, X-Factor had stopped the mutant god from unleashing the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse on the beloved city. Now, it was time for the truth. For some time, Warren Worthington III alias Angel had used his fortune in order to recruit Beast, Cyclops, Marvel Girl and Iceman to set up X-Factor. In fact, X-Factor had operated outside the law as the X-Terminators. Today, Cyclops revealed both team were one and the same thing. From that day on, X-Factor would reveal the aliases of its members to support the Mutant Registration Act. Indeed, it was the Fall of the Mutants. But which mutants? More importantly, would humanity finally come to tolerate mutant difference granting them their civil rights? Only future adventures would tell.
