To begin, Wonder Woman: Contagion reveals Gail Simone’s most popular storyline. Though, the plot seems disconnected. In reality, Wonder Woman: Contagion collects two different story arcs, Murder of Crows and Contagion. We recommend collecting in single issues.

Importantly, Wonder Woman must free Power Girl from the Children of Ares. Dangerously, Astarte appears with an alien fleet to destroy the Earth save 100 women. And Wonder Woman must choose between Earth and the Amazons.

The comic is good for your collection. You will definitely love the realism in the art, the characters’ classical poses and the color palette. This is the comic to own in order to build your Wonder Woman collection.

The customer review said: “Well, this is it. The end of one of many great runs on Wonder Woman. Pity it had to end so soon.

This volume contains to more arcs to close out the series. The first involves a threat that was teased in the last volume. Ares has created 5 sons, and now they are terrorizing Washington DC. This arc comes with a surprise appearance of Powergirl for added fun. It’s a good arc, but I’m a bit disappointed how soon it ended.

For the grand finale, we get another alien invasion. A female society of warriors (where have we heard that) have descended on the Earth and they come packing Green Lantern tech. Diana and friends pull out every stop to repel the invasion. I’m glad that the series got to go out on such a great note.”

NEGATIVE REVIEW

There are five negative reviews. One negative review pointed the poor plot: “Not only bad, but, boring to tears. The first story it’s about five kids, all children to Ares, God of War, doing pranks to stablish anarchy. WW fights against them and Power Girl. How does WW wins the five children? By spanking them! The second story it’s a bout WW’s aunt who was abducted by aliens, years later she returns to Earth to get all the technology she has. WW finaly gets control of the space Amazons with the help of Achilles and the Amazons of Themyscira, when we have seen the Green Lanter Corps at the beginning of the story. Bump. Few action and a very bad script bur the arto work is not bad. Definitively not the best WW graphic novel.”

Overall, this comic was great.
