To begin, the success of One-Punch Man, Vol. 1 (1) stems from its initial popularity and its pastiche. Originally, the manga started as a popular webcomic before being adapted into print. Then, it was adapted into animation with One-Punch Man Season 1 and Season 2.
Really, the manga has become a pop-culture phenomenon. Last year, we successfully promoted a Goku vs One-Punch Man article.
The manga is good for your One-Punch Man collection. The ShonenJump is pocket-sized and fits neatly inside your pants. The cover and art are typical manga though the action scenes are impressive. Importantly, the superhero pastiche makes for an entertaining read.
