Captain America and Bucky fight Red Skull.

‘Captain America Comics’ (1940) #1, titled “Meet Captain America” marks the FIRST APPEARANCE of Captain America in Marvel continuity. The issue tells the origin story of Captain America and his recruitment in the war effort against the Nazis during World War II.
The issue also tells the relationship between friends and allies Captain America and Bucky Barnes.
The comic was written and penciled by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.
