FEBRUARY BEST SELLERS TRENDS

With the President’s Day holiday, children’s stories are very popular this month. Though a federal holiday, it seems families are enjoying the festivity as a way to spend quality time.

This month, 32 out of the Top 50 Kindle books are for children’s stories of either Big Nate or The Wimpy Kid. Certainly, this revival is seasonal though their popularity has staying power in the Top 100.

With recent DC Universe announcements, James Gunn has restarted interest in Superman. To mark the Dawn of DC, a new Superman series has been renumbered to issue #1.

At Marvel, Jerry Duggan’s re-introduction of the X-Men series continues by focusing on the mutants as superheroes and not just a galactic force. And deserving of more praise, the TMNT series The Last Ronin is at position #46.
