HERCULES IS EXILED FROM OLYMPUS
In Hercules: Prince of Power (1982), our Book of the Month winner in May 2024, artist and writer Bob Layton tells one of the most important stories in Marvel history. For decades, Hercules has been a regular feature character in the Thor series. In the collected series, Hercules stars in his first four-issue mini-series and goes on space-faring adventures. Perhaps, one of the most comedic Marvel cosmic stories. According to Comichron, neither Diamond nor Capital published end-of-year sales reports in the 1980s until 1984.

BLACK PANTHER MAKES HIS DEBUT
In Fantastic Four (1966) #52, Black Panther makes his first appearance. In the issue, Black Panther invites the Fantastic Four in the nation of Wakanda. Importantly, Wakanda and vibranium also make their first appearances. Moreover, the comic format is also valuable for the Jack Kirby cover featuring the ensemble cast with Black Panther and the Fantastic Four.
RED SKULL APPEARS WITH THE COSMIC CUBE
Certainly, Red Skull is a historic character in Marvel comics. After making appearances in World War II flashback stories, Red Skull makes his first appearance to attack Captain America in the present-day in the Silver Age Tales of Suspense (1966) #79. With a Fine collectible, the two-parter also gives the first appearance of the Cosmic Cube. Indeed, showing Captain America is The First Avenger.
