Uncanny X-men (1963) #112 “Magneto Appearance”
Critically, Uncanny X-men (1963) #112 “Magneto Appearance” is the prelude to the Dark Phoenix Saga storyline. In fact, the comic announces changes to the world of the X-Men and the Scott Summers-Jean Grey romance.
Together, author Chris Claremont and artist John Byrne collaborate on the issue. Really, the writing shines on the predicament of the X-Men and Magneto’s triumph. Indeed, the art in the book is classic Byrne SCI-FI: dramatic, toned and colorful. Moreover, Magneto vs Phoenix.
