In 2018, Marvel Comics relaunched their comics with Fresh Start. Importantly, the comic changed the Legacy heroes and restored the classic heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk or Thor. With the relaunch, their origins were restored and the important marriage between Spider-Man and Mary Jane was resumed.
This week, the new CAPTAIN MARVEL: DARK PAST (2026) #2 releases. Today, we celebrate the summer.

In our Book of the Month contender, we celebrate the #StrongestAvenger this Superhero Day. In the preview, AIPT revealed that writer Paul Jenkins would continue on volume 1 of Captain Marvel: Dark Past with art by Lucas Werneck.
In issue #2, the thriller comic continues for Carol Danvers as she uncovers the truth about D.N.V.R. Captain Marvel: Dark Past (2026) #2 (of 5) is available for download on Amazon Kindle.
