THE ART
To begin, the art is pure Dan Jurgens. The artist, writer, creator rose to fame with his incredible work on Superman in the 1990s and with the soft revamp Zero Hour. In Death of Superman, Jurgens’ curvy lines and strong musculature create kinetic panels.

Though Jurgens’ art may seem exaggerated with a lack of perspective and propotion at times, his characters are all distinctive and come to life with powerful facial expressions. Witness an all-out Superman unleash a destructive blast of heat vision to protect Lois Lane and the citizens of Metropolis. Check out Jurgens’ art book You Can Draw: Marvel Characters.
THE FIGHT
In a battle to the death, Superman must stop the rampaging Doomsday, to protect the citizens of Metropolis. Even making the ultimate sacrifice!
The battle to decide who is the strongest!
