CAPTAIN ATOM AND MISTER MAJESTIC ARE DC’S TOP TWO SOLDIERS

Today, we reveal a less-celebrated rivalry in DCdom. This summer, we celebrate the Wildcats TV series and its popular characters. At DC Comics, Captain Atom and Mister Majestic are the top two soldier heroes.

In his fictional history, Captain Atom is a hero who is out of time. In the SILVER AGE, Nathaniel Adams makes his FIRST APPEARANCE in Space Adventures (1960) #33. Accidentally, the soldier gains powers from the Quantum Field in a secret government experiment. Though he survives, he quantum jumps to the Post-Crisis Universe.

Similarly, Mister Majestic is a Kherubim soldier who is out of place. After the Kherubim/Daemonite War, Majestros ends up on Earth. Though he is a hero, he is known for his extreme and violent measures as leader during WildC.A.T.s: Gang War.

Though their rivalry is not well known, Captain Atom and Mister Majestic faced each other in the comics. In Captain Atom: Armageddon (2006), Captain Atom quantum jumps to the WildStorm Universe.

In Captain Atom: Armageddon (2006) #3, occurs the Captain Atom vs Mister Majestic battle at the White House. Incredibly, the battle ends in a stalemate.

Let’s look at how Captain Atom and Mister Majestic compare in energy projection.

TV: IN YOUNG JUSTICE, CAPTAIN ATOM SAVES A NUCLEAR PLANT FROM RADIATION

In 2011, Warner Bros. released Young Justice on Cartoon Network. Certainly, a pop-culture phenomenon that introduces fans to the DC Universe and its younger generation of heroes in training.

Moreover, Season 1 is notable for the relationship between the Justice League and the Young Justice. In Episode 14, the Justice League fought the Injustice League’s latest attack on Metropolis. In a catastrophe, giant plant creatures attack the city.

Importantly, it features one of the best Captain Atom moments as he saves a nuclear plant and the city from destruction. After a giant plant topples one of the towers, Captain Atom acts to absorb the radiation unleashed in the vicinity.

With 1 gigaWatt of electricity that a nuclear plant produces, Captain Atom performed a City Block-Level of Energy. Certainly, this is more powerful than Mister Majestic’s Energy.

TV: MISTER MAJESTIC CAN DESTROY THE DAEMONITE ARMY

Really, Wildcats (1994) may be among the best Extreme shows of the 90s. Though the show only ran with Season 1, it was a sensation at the time, even released with a tie-in video game in 1995.

Perhaps, one of its best celebrated moments is the resurrection of Mister Majestic from orbital stasis around Earth for a thousand years. When the commander of the Kherubim army emerges, he immediately assumes command against the Daemonites.

In the Kherubim/Daemonite War, Majestic quickly dispatches Helspont and his army with his powerful blasts and eyebeams. Because of his overwhelming power, Helspont and his Daemonite army immediately retreat.

Considering Mister Majestic was destroying the opponent’s weapons, fortifications and ship, Majestic’s feat is at least City Block-Level in Energy.

COMIC: CAPTAIN ATOM CAN QUANTUM JUMP

For the most part, Captain Atom has gone through different incarnations over the comic book ages. During the Modern Age, Captain Atom has been in top form. Though his power regularly fluctuates, the New 52 version seems to have near infinite kinetic energy and we rated him in The Mightiest Punch! with Stellar-Level Super Speed in quantum jumps. Properly speaking, Captain Atom theoretically has access to infinite energy with the Quantum Field.

COMIC: MAJESTIC CAN DESTROY AN ASTEROID

For the most part, Mister Majestic is not as powerful as Captain Atom. With his thermo-vision and his blasts, he can reduce an asteroid to dust. Properly, his Energy-Level is Planetary.
