ORIGIN STORY

200,000 years ago, an alien scientist named Bertron had the dream of creating the Ultimate on Krypton. Early Krypton was very harsh and hostile and the life-forms living there were the deadliest creatures in the universe. The child that would become Doomsday was created by a process of forced evolution. He was exposed to the harsh environment, killed, its remains collected then cloned then the process was repeated a thousand times. Eventually, the creature evolved the ability to come back from the attack that killed it. Doomsday proceeded to eradicate all the harsh life-forms on Krypton.

Per it’s genetic programming, it returned to Bertron’s lab and killed Bertron and all the scientists there. Then it boarded the cargo ship that supplied Bertron’s lab and went to other planets destroying lives.

Doomsday ended up on Calaton, a very scientifically advanced world. For three years it laid waste to the planet until it reached the capital. The scientists worked to devise a solution and finally, the members of the Royal family who had meta human abilities were merged into the being called the Radiant. For a week, he battled Doomsday until in an all-out energy attack he was able to kill the creature. Doomsday was bound but its body was not destroyed to prevent it from entering the afterlife and sent into space. It crash-landed on Earth, buried deep within its mantle.1

DOOMSDAY AND SUPERMAN DIE IN BATTLE IN METROPOLIS

Doomsday emerged to the Earth’s surface. He was met by the Justice League and was named Doomsday by Booster Gold. Doomsday beat them with ease with one hand tied behind his back.2,3 Superman soon met him and a battle across the U.S. states followed. Superman realized the creature was headed for Metropolis.4,5 Eventually, Superman fought Doomsday to a standstill. Finally, both combatants dealt each other the final blow. Apparently spent, they both died.6,7

ORIGIN STORY

Ororo Munroe is the child of American photojournalist David Munroe and the Kenyan princess N’Dare. She comes from a line of African priestesses that have white hair, blue eyes and the power to use magic.1

Ororo was orphaned at the age of five, as her parents died in a plane crash in Cairo, Egypt. Though she survived from the accident, she developed a deep claustrophobia from being buried in the rubble. She was raised by a gang of thieves led by Achmed El Gibar. Ororo became a thief and once attempted to steal from Professor Xavier. At age 12, she decided to journey South. She accepted a ride from a stranger and was nearly raped by him. She managed to kill the man though she swore never to another human life.2

After nearly dying in the Saharan Desert, she saved T’Challa using her weather powers. The two shared romance though it was ended.3,4 Ororo finally reached her ancestors’ homeland on the Kilimanjaro Valley in Kenya. She was taken in by a tribal woman Ainet who taught her the use of her powers. Soon, Ororo became worshipped by the tribes as a goddess.5

ORORO JOINS THE X-MEN

Years later, Ororo helped the X-Men, battle a mutant known as Deluge that used Ororo’s control of weather to destroy humanity. Afterwards, she returned to her tribe.6

Months later, however, Professor Xavier was left with no choice but to recruit Storm, as he called her, and other mutants from around the world into the X-Men in order to rescue his original students from the threat of the sentient island being, known as Krakoa. Prof. Xavier explained to Ororo that she was not a “goddess”, but a mutant and had a responsibility to use her abilities to help the world, just as she had helped the local tribes. Curious, Ororo accepted Professor Xavier’s offer and was given the code name “Storm”.

HEIGHT: 6′ 2″ (1.88 m) (6’7″ when armored)

WEIGHT: 225 lbs (102.06 kg) (415 lbs when armored)

ALIGNMENT: EVIL

ORIGIN STORY

Early Years

Victor von Doom was born in a Romani camp outside HaasenstadtLatveria.[34] His mother, Cynthia, was killed in a bargain with Mephisto that went wrong. Despite his father’s attempts to care for her, a noblewoman died and Werner von Doom fled with a young Victor on a cold winter’s night. Victor survived the cold, but unfortunately his father did not.[39] Doom sought to increase his knowledge of both science and magic in order to rescue his mother,[40] whose death he blamed on Mephisto. In his youth, Victor fell in love with a woman named Valeria, but she resisted his advances.[41]

Becoming Doctor Doom

The State University in HegemanNew York offered Victor a scholarship. While attending classes there, he met Reed Richards and Ben Grimm for the first time.[38][40] They developed a dislike for each other, leading to Reed Richards commiting the first prank he had ever pulled, changing Victor’s last name on a trophy to “Doof.”[18] Doom became obsessed with developing a machine that could project the astral form of a being into other dimensions, seeing it as a way to free his mother’s soul from Mephisto’s clutches. Reed pointed out a flaw in Doom’s calculations, but Doom arrogantly ignored his warnings, feeling Reed was trying to upstage him, likely due to their dislike for each other. The machine exploded, scarring Doom’s face. He was soon expelled for conducting unethical experiments. From then on, he blamed Reed Richards for the destruction of his face as well as his expulsion.[38][40]

Disgraced and bitter, Doom traveled the world. Eventually he came upon a small Tibetan village of monks who assisted him in creating a suit of armor. He returned to his homeland of Latveria to overthrow the leader and declare himself king. He then began to use his country’s resources in order to further his plans of world domination. These schemes led Doom into conflict with the Fantastic Four on many occasions, as well as many other superheroes.[40]
