MARVEL DAY
IN COMIC COLLECTIONS
In the She-HULK: Attorney At Law mini-series, She-Hulk joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany stars in the lead role along with Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. In the series, Jennifer Walters gains super-powers as she struggles with her life as a lawyer.
This September 18th, in Marvel history, we celebrate the FIRST APPEARANCE of Nathaniel Richards during She-Hulk’s tenure with the Fantastic Four.
NATHANIEL RICHARDS MAKES HIS FIRST FULL APPEARANCE IN A SPACE COWBOY STORY
In Fantastic Four (1984) #273, artist and writer John Byrne continues She-Hulk’s tenure with the FF. In a SCI-FI story set on Other-Earth, the Fantastic Four must find Reed Richards’ father, named Nathaniel Richards who makes his full first appearance, and overthrow the tyranny of Warlord, Nathaniel’s wife. Perhaps, one of the most serious FF sci-fi stories with battles, cowboys and the death of Warlord. According to Comichron, neither Diamond nor Capital published end-of-year sales reports in the 1980s until October 1984.

IRON MAN DEBUTS IN THE FIRST HEROES REBORN EVENT
Certainly, Iron Man is a historic character in Marvel comics. In the Heroes Reborn (1996) event, the very fine/near mint Iron Man (1996) #1 debuts in a story set on Counter-Earth. After the Onslaught event, Franklin Richards saves Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a pocket dimension on Counter-Earth. Moreover, the comic format is also valuable for the Whilce Portacio and Scott Williams cover featuring the titular hero.
